Those of you who are using such software as Netscape Communicator or Microsoft
Outlook to work with e-mail (at least on your FFML-subscribed account) may want
to seriously consider resetting your e-mail software to work in plain ASCII
format, instead of using the HTML editor to write and send e-mail. In Netscape
Messenger, open the Preferences window, click on "Formatting" under "Mail and
Newsgroups," and then select "Use the plain text editor to compose messages" in
the Message formatting menu.
I don't have any Microsoft e-mail or Internet software on my machine (or if
it's there anyway, I don't USE it) so I'm not sure how you would set that
option, but I'm sure that it's there somewhere ... just dig through the e-mail
formatting preferences and find the option which says to write and/or send
messages as plain text or ASCII instead of HTML.
Just trying to be helpful to folks, since I've noticed the recent spate of HTML
messages getting redirected to /dev/null by Listar. Best way to avoid that is
to send your messages as plain ASCII text. n.n
