Lately, several people have been posting fics two or more times because
not all subscribers received them the first time.
This stops. Now.
Not only is a second or third posting unlikely to reach those readers
who didn't get the first one, but it increases the burden on the list
server and worsens the congestion that is causing the problems in the
first place. If people aren't receiving your fics. post a web or FTP
adresses where they can be found, or mail them directly to the people
who didn't get them from the list. Do NOT post again without at least
checking with us at ffml-admins first.
On a related subject, as stated in the FAQ, fic requests should be sent
directly to the author of the fics. Don't send them to the list, and
don't respond to them on the list.
Your cooperation is appreciated. Please help us reduce unnecessary list
traffic so that the fanfics and C&C can get out to as many subscribers
as possible.
