I need help on the usage of ellipses. I know their "official" use is to

omit words in a quotation, but they have also been used to indicate a

pause in dialogue. I am not sure if the proper way to do this is



a) "Oh... that was bad."

b) "Oh ... that was bad."

c) "Oh...that was bad."

d) "Oh . . . that was bad."
