While I am not sadistic, just curious and for want of variety, this is

something I have wanted to see for a while. Shown that a better world

would have existed without one's birth (or birth and early death), what

would that person do? Would they proceed to kill themselves, keep living

a useless life, deny the possibility of such a world or do as Ranma did in

this story and try to make things better?

While, "It's a Wonderful Life" is a classic and writing remakes of it is

a Christmas thing to do... Sometimes you have to wonder just what might

happen it the supernatural being that came along showed a better or even

unaffected alternate world than the current one, just because you weren't

born. Worse yet is if said supernatural being was on the side of Heaven

(or just a nice spirit) and the alternate world really was better.

Can you imagine Belldandy trying to show Ranma or Ryoga (or anyone else)

that things would _not_ have been better off if he hadn't been born only

to find out that the _reverse_ was true?
