Hi all!

I was just writing and updating some stuff when I had this great idea for a

fic.

It is a fanfic of course, but...

What if the plot of the story was about a the writer him/herself actually

writing the story?

What goes on 'behind the scenes' of the creation of "Hearts of Ice"?

What goes on in the mind of Gregg Sharp when he write his "Third Labour"?

Do you ever wonder?

I'm not sure about you, but my fingers are itching to write this but I'm a

horrible writer.

I just suck at this kinda stuff.

With this, do I charge thee!

Thou must uphold thy honour and accept any and all challenge set forth.

In my stead, thou shalt write a fanfic describing thy endeavours in writing

your main fanfic!

Okay, so what you're basically saying is that you're interested in a fic

that looks at an author on the list writing a fic and why he does it. Well, I

don't know about everyone else, but for me, there really isn't that much to it.

If I was to give a simple reason as to why I write Eva or why I write about

video games and the like is simple; because I'm a fan of what I write about

(hence, fanfiction I guess). I wrote my Star of the Southern Cross fic because

I wanted to be a part of Eva. That Six Pack one was inspired by fics that I've

seen of Lara Bentam's last year. That idea with Maya was due to the EoE movie

and I wanted to make a diffrence. My Resident Evil fic was a kind of homage, a

kind of tribute to Rebecca Chambers and the rest of the RE characters that I

have the utmost respect for. And another reason that I wrote this fic is

because of everything that's been done with RE. On the internet I've seen fics,

pictures, portrayels of Rebecca being (*&^%$ by a Hunter, we have comics, we

have novels, we have movies, and they all contradict each other. Even the games

thenselves contradict each one another. And it's the same with NGE, it's the

same with a lot of other things, there are books, comics, anime, manga, movies,

fics based on books based on comics based on games based on animes based on an

idea written on toilet paper, ect, ect, ect. So with RE in particular, the

writers of the comics and novels, those who put up inaccurate stories on the

internet, and in some ways Capcom themselves leave me with no other choice but

to write what I hope is something that is well written, enjoyable and is not

from a twisted mind (are you listening, Kyle Twilight?). The last fic I've

written, I think it was the last fic, was a spur of the moment fic, and I think

that showed with how the fic was written. My latest fic, which I'll hopefully

send in a matter of hours, I wrote after watching the Metal Gear Solid 2 video,

which is most impressive, and was struck with how similer it was to NGE. So, I

thought that I'd write a fic where the two were intertwined and put in a hell

of an effort into it to make what would hopefully be a damn good fic. I

wouldn't try writing a fic about writing fics, but I've taken up Flyz's

challenge and am currently writing a Ridge Racer fic. One of the characters

writes and has similer views that I have (wait until he sees

artofktwilight.fsn.net/game5.html). My fic will show that a bit, but

unfortunetly my Playstation has packed it in so I'll need to get a lot of

information on RR (names, tracks, dates, ect) on the internet, which means that

the fic will take a while. I've made enough noise, plus I have big problems

where my left eye used to be, so I'll see you all later.

You have been talking to the Millennium Man, Y3K. I'm out like the

nineties. Peace.
