wow. :-o You have broken the mold with this characterization of Rei.
Rei,
jealous, and suicidal! Your version of Asuka is so two-dimensional, it
ends
up breathing life into the clich�. Too many fanfic writers write about
her
insecurities as a reason for her asinine behavior and forget to portray it
as what it is; asinine behavior. Fuyutsuki is given a nice touch here as
one of the few that can read Gendo, as he should be.
Few nitpicks : Maybe a little more portrayal of Rei? I can just see
her
conveniently leaving her alone with a few lethal implements around. Then
again, maybe not, you seemed to keep the length of this fic about right
