Okay, let's see, in one corner, we have Miyu, and, by association, Larva. In
another we have one of the Old Ones. There's Mayumi and her family, who are
apparently all Shinma, and Chisato doesn't exactly seem to be powerless
either.
I do have one or two questions though. I can buy that Mayumi and her family
can't see Loren for what she is, but wouldn't Loren know? I mean, the Old
Ones, at least as far as I know, were/are Gods. I mean, she should have
picked up the fact that Mayumi's not what she seems right off the bat, or at
least gotten a funny feeling in a house full of Shinma.
Granted, a Shinma human guise might hold up under casual scruitiny,
especially when Loren has no reason to take Mayumi at anything other then
face value but after watching her scare those punks away, and she had to feel
it when Mayumi lost control in the park, wouldn't Loren choose to probe a bit
more closely?
