I'm sitting at my key-board, frantically trying to get
my mail-box cleared out before the power goes (three
inches of snow on the ground and still coming down
hard) when I see a story by D.F. Roeder. A short
story.
A few minutes reading . . .what could it hurt?

Good job as always.
(my only criticism is that, IMO only, you _might_ have
gone just a weeeeeeeeeeee bit overboard with your use
of {giiiive, yoooouuuu, etc.}
Very nice overall.
