I strongly disagree! These are still an authors work and NO ONE
should be able to just sieze control of "abandoned" fics. There are
any number of fics out there that are "on hold" for one reason or
another for *long* periods of time.
I concur with this.
We who have been working on Unfinished Business have not done so for...oh,
almost a year now for the simple reason that we've run into a
wall. We're working around it. Remember,
we're not talking about role-playing scenarios where a person controlling a
character has actually abandoned it, we're talking stories that people write,
have put a lot of their time, blood, sweat, tears, and numerous other bodily
fluids into, and unless they are confirmed dead, would rather not see people
doing more than suggesting things they can do in their works.
