Greetings all of the mailing list! This is yer local fan
fiction
cabbit Chi-Ohki here! Its almost that time of the year again when the
Christmas
season will be upon us. In light of this happy time of the year, I
decided to
issue this challenge.
From this data until Midnight Christmas Eve, I issue this
challenge
to you. To write 1,000 AD fics by Christmas eve. Now, 2 years ago, there
was an adfic challenge issued by someone that had an alarmingly powerful
response.
Yes, a response so alarming and powerful that administrative action had to
be taken to stem the tide of the things.
Don't repeat the stupid mistakes of your ancestors.
So, to keep things in spirit and from getting redundant. I
have decided
to empose these restrictions upon the challenge:
Other than that, you're free to write. Looking forward to seeing if
the challenge
will succeed.
The URL of the archive will be posted once fics start arriving.
Here's a better idea:
Why not accept adfics for the archive by e-mail, and just post the URL of
the archive? With more than double the number of subscribers now as there
were back when the original Adfic Challenge from Hell was issued, I doubt
the FFML can take the strain of another round of it...
