I've gotten several complaints about this thread already, so it's hereby

banned.



While there's no specific prohibition in the FAQ (yet) against

introducing oneself on the list, it's frowned upon due to the sheer size

of the list population. Common sense should tell you that on a list with

two to three thousand accounts subscribed that having everyone introduce

his or her self would lead to everyone's mailbox being flooded.



So, in the interest of that not happening, please...



1) If you want to introduce yourself, put your introduction inside

another post that *should* be on the list -- a fanfic, or a thoughtful

comment on someone else's posted fic. Believe me, you'll make a much

more favorable impression that way anyway.



2) If you want to C&C someone's introduction, or anything else that

isn't a fanfic, please do it by private mail, so as not to compound the

spam with more spam.



3) If you aren't sure whether what you're about to post is acceptable,

write to ffml-admins@fanfic.com and ask before you post.
