A Couple of Angels
Chapter 7b
"Are you feeling better?" Rei asked Ranma, as the latter woke up.
"I guess. Nothing like sleeping for a day after depleting your ki
reserves," Ranma replied, shrugging.
"Ki reserves?" Rei asked, blinking.
"Yep. You know..."
The Angel alarm sounding in Nerv cut Ranma's explanation short.
Rei and Ranma quickly ran towards the dressing room, meeting Asuka
halfway.
"Looks like we get to beat the crap out of another Angel," Asuka said,
slapping her friends on their backs.
Rei only smirked in response. It wasn't a nice smirk.

The EVAs were launched directly into the GeoFront, as the Eighth Angel
has already penetrated all of its protective layers by the time the
pilots were ready.
"Hold, abomination! For I am the Pretty Plug-Suited Pilot, Fourth
Child..."
"...Second Child of the Sun..."
"...First Child of the Moon..."
"And in the name of Nerv, we will punish you!" the trio finished
together, posing heroically.
While most of Nerv's employees actually thought that to be one of the
silliest things they've ever seen, they had enough common sense not to
laugh at mentally unbalanced children piloting gigantic mecha and just
cheered for them instead.
"And I," a new arrival shouted, appearing behind the dynamic trio, "am
Doormat Kamen! The sworn protector of Cute Chicks everywhere!"
As the girls in the Evangelions looked slightly ill as their teammate's
stupidity, the Angel had an entirely different reaction. With a shout of
"Hubba Hubba!" Happosai jumped towards the purple Evangelion with his
arms outstretched.
Shinji shrieked not unlike his school's Principal during that time one
red-head decided to get fresh with his microphone, and desperately
erected an AT field around his Unit. The perverted little Angel passed
through the AT field as if it weren't even there, and started groping
EVA 01's chest in various places, exclaiming, "That's the stuff!" every
once in a while.
The pilot of Unit 01 grimaced inside his entry plug, and wished for the
umpteenth time Dr. Akagi had disconnected the neural connection between
him and the EVA. Never before in his life had he ever felt so...
violated.
Sighing, Ranma opened a channel to her fellow pilots.
"Looks like we get to save him once again..."
"Holy perverts, Wonder Girl. You're right!" Asuka agreed, ready for
action.
Rei added, "It's time for... Girl Power!"
Lifting their progressive knives to the Heavens, the pilots shouted in
perfect synchrony, "EVA Girl Power, Make Up!"
Tacky lights flashed all over the GeoFront, mesmerizing everyone except
for the Angel that kept fondling Unit 01. From the light show emerged
three EVAs, that while looking exactly the same as before their
transformation were definitely much more powerful than previously.
"All together now, just like I told you!" Ranma shouted over the com.
"Fireball!"
Three huge fireballs emerged from the EVAs, heading directly for the
Angel. Happosai did a quick run over Unit 01's chest and bounded away at
the last moment. At that moment the girls understood the fatal flaw in
their attack. Namely, the unprepared purple Evangelion standing dumbly
in the path of the blasts.
Paling, Shinji tried gathering as much power as he could into his EVA's
AT field, when he noticed a slight draft. Looking down through the EVA's
eyes, he was shocked to find out that the Evangelion's breastplate was
gone.
Unfortunately, it was a bad moment for him to be shocked and lose his
concentration over the AT field he was trying to erect against the
incoming blasts...
After a flashy explosion worthy of a couple of N2 mines, the three
remaining pilots were speechless, until Ranma exclaimed, "Oh my God! We
killed Shinji!"
"You bastards!" Misato shouted over the com, nearing tears. 'Now I'll
have to cook by myself! And... and the cleaning duties...'
The purple-haired Major promptly fainted, caught by Kaji just before she
could hit the floor. Kaji stole a quick feel as his reward, making
Makoto insanely jealous.
Unperturbed by these events, Rei continued to stare into one direction,
muttering something about 'pretty colors' occasionally.
"Gals! Pull yourself together! You still have an Angel to fry!" Ritsuko
yelled, bringing everyone down to Earth.
"But... but what about that perverted, spineless, idiotic, no-good
Shinji?!" Asuka exclaimed, pointing towards the still smoking piece of
rubble that was once Evangelion Unit 01.
"He was a wimp. And I always liked Rei better, myself," Commander Ikari
spoke, getting everyone's attention. "Proceed with your mission, Pretty
Pilots!"
Everyone in the control room once again cheered as the remaining trio of
EVAs saluted and ran off in hot pursuit of the Eighth Angel, that was
hopping all over the GeoFront with Unit 01's breastplate over his back,
shouting, "What a haul!" in glee.

"Girls, we have to stop it from reaching Terminal Dogma, or all hope is
lost!" Ranma announced to her teammates over the com system.
"You don't mean... the Third Impact?!" Asuka gasped.
"Precisely, oh Fiery One. And if that pervert has his way and creates
Third Impact, that'd be the end of all humanity," Ranma replied
emotionally.
"What are we waiting for, then?" Asuka shouted, running after Happosai
with her progressive knife.
"Wait, Asuka, this could be a tra..." Ranma tried to warn her friend,
but she didn't even finish the sentence as a huge tentacle shot out and
grabbed EVA 02's left leg, causing it to fall on its belly
unceremoniously.
Back in the command center, Ritsuko fretted over her terminal, that
started showing a second Blue Pattern.
Happosai coughed into his fist, gaining everyone's attention.
"I promised Pantyhose..."
The monster let out a series of angry grunts and growls, interrupting
the pervert.
"Ahem. I promised PANTYHOSE that I'd change his name if he took care of
you. Have fun playing with him, my darling Ranma-chan!"
Having said that, the shrunken old Angel bounded further into the
GeoFront, headed towards Terminal Dogma. Ranma immediately tried to
follow him, only to be intercepted by a tentacle that grabbed her EVAs
chest. Shrieking in surprise, the red-head started hacking at the
offending appendage with her EVAs progressive knife, reducing the
aforementioned tentacle into fine paste.
"Rei, Asuka, let's attack it together! Everyone grab a group of
tentacles and start chopping them down!"
"Tentacles..."
"Not now, Rei."

"Man, that was one tough tentacled monster!" Asuka commented, wiping the
sweat off her brow. That she was immersed in LCL and couldn't really
have any sweat on her brow to wipe never occurred to the red-head.
"Hey, that was nothing! Miko Mido... now there's a girl that deals with
really tentacled monsters," Ranma said, smirking.
"Miko Mido? I don't think I've heard about her," Asuka replied,
scrunching her nose.
"She is from a hentai anime," Rei answered, as her EVA passed the other
two, going towards Terminal Dogma.
Ranma thought about it, and then opened a channel to the control room.
"Hey, Rit-chan... Did you put something... funny... in Rei's LCL?"
"Funny? What do you mean, Ranko?" Dr. Akagi replied, genuinely confused.
"Well, you know... extra oxygen, hallucinogenics, switch it for LSD...
that kind of stuff."
"Umm... no."
"Are you sure?" Ranma asked, squinting her eyes.
"Pretty sure," Ritsuko answered, nodding. She hazarded a glance at Maya,
who nodded as well.
"Oh, ok. Forget about it, then."
Shrugging, Ranma made her EVA run towards Terminal Dogma, Asuka
following her closely behind.

"Oh my God!"
"Gott in Himmel!"
Turning to look at each other, Ranma and Asuka saw only confusion on
each other's faces.
"Why is there a giant, naked Rei on a cross here?" they both shouted at
the same time, once the initial shock wore off.
Unfortunately, Lilith wasn't alone. The small, perverted Angel was
floating in front of her, exactly between her breasts.
"No! We have to stop him!" Rei, who was still in Unit 00 shouted to her
teammates.
"Rei! How come you're both here and there?" Ranma asked in confusion.
"Yeah! And why are you naked there? I know not a lot of people come
here, but still..." Asuka pitched in.
"That's not me!" Rei answered angrily.
Looking over the giant Rei's body very thoroughly, Ranma said, smirking,
"Could've fooled me."
"Hmph!"
"Oh, come on, Rei! Don't be like that!"
The blue-haired girl pointedly turned away from the monitor showing
Ranma's face. Her EVA turned away from Units 02 and 03 as well.
In the meanwhile, Happosai used the pilots' disarray to latch on to
Lilith's left breast and nuzzle it. Warning lights started flashing all
over the GeoFront immediately, getting all the pilots' attention
immediately.
"What's happening?" Asuka cried out, as the whole construct shook.
"Oh, no! We're too late!" Rei exclaimed in shock. "The little pervert
started Third Impact!"
Lilith's right hand came off the cross, and slapped Happosai, who was
caught unaware. Since Lilith was enormous, and Happosai quite tiny, it
smashed him like a fly. Freeing the rest of her body from the cross,
Lilith glared at the spot in LCL where Happosai's remains have fallen,
and then at Ranma in her EVA. Using both her hands to cover her
nakedness, she initiated a shockwave, that spread throughout the entire
world at enormous speed, and disappeared.

"Wha... what happened?" Ranma asked, gaping.
"Third Impact," Rei answered matter-of-factly.
"But... but I thought it was the end of the world or something..."
"Or something," Rei answered, smirking. "Lilith..."
"You mean that giant Rei?"
"It was Lilith!!!" Rei shouted, before getting a hold of herself.
"Anyway, she turned everyone in the world into women."
"So?"
Rei stared at Ranma through the com.
"Oh. You mean, it really is the end of humanity, 'cause there's no one
left to... to..."
"Yep," Rei answered, nodding.
Ranma noticed that Asuka had yet to say anything about the whole End-Of-
The-World thing, and turned to look for her. Gazing sadly at what
remained of Unit 02, Ranma shook her head.
'It must've hurt to be crushed by that giant cross...'
"So, Rei... what now?"
"Well, the world as we know it ends with the current generation. And
we're also out of a job."
"Since you put it that way..." Ranma threw her hands up in the air.
"Wanna have hot, lesbian sex with me?"
Rei shrugged, and accepted. Ordering their EVAs to eject the entry
plugs, both pilots quickly exited the EVAs and jumped down into the sea
of LCL.
"I don't understand why that Angel wanted to cause Third Impact," Rei
said, as she was getting out of her plug suite.
"Ah, the old pervert probably wanted to have a whole world full of
pretty ladies," Ranma answered nonchalantly, tearing away her own plug
suit. 'Not that I'll ever need it...'
"So, where do you wanna do it?" Ranma asked, her eyes roaming all over
Rei's naked body. "Inside an EVA, on that cross, in the control room...
on Commander Ikari's desk?"
"Been there, done that," Rei replied in a bored tone of voice.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up.
"How about a hot, greasy, slippery sapphic relationship in the LCL? I'll
let you ride my joystick! You'll love it!"
Shrugging, Ranma said, "Sure!" and grabbed Rei in a deep kiss, rubbing
her back passionately.
Ranma almost lost herself in all the new sensations her body was
registering, when she noticed that Rei was calling her name...

"Yeah?" Ranma asked weakly, blinking a few times.
When the image in front of her cleared, Ranma found herself staring
directly into Rei's face. Noticing their proximity, Ranma blushed
furiously, and asked the other girl shakily, "What happened?"
"You were making strange sounds and calling my name. I decided to wake
you up."
Ranma groaned internally, and wanted to smack herself. Of course Rei
wouldn't want to have hot, lesbian sex with her! Realizing what she was
thinking about, Ranma blushed even stronger than previously.
"You seem flushed. Are you alright? Should I call Dr. Akagi?" Rei asked,
stepping away from Ranma's bed.
"NO!" Ranma cried out in panic, before seeing that she was startling Rei
and calming down. Taking a few deep breaths, she put the meditation
techniques she knew to good use, and informed Rei that there was no need
to call anyone.
Rei nodded, and sat back in her chair by Ranma's bed.
A few minutes later, Ranma's curiosity got the better of her.
"Rei... I do feel funny... is that because of the LCL?"
"Dr. Akagi said that they had to give you a lot of drugs to stabilize
your condition. Some of them might have had side effects."
"Side effects? Like making me hallucinate and stuff?"
"Did you hallucinate?" Rei asked, looking at the red-head.
"Umm..." Ranma desperately thought for an excuse. 'If I say yes, then
she'll ask me about the dreams! What to do, what to do...'
Fortunately for the red-head, she didn't have to lie to Rei. The blue-
haired girl's phone rang, and she answered it, saying 'yes' a few times
before terminating the call.
Standing up, she turned to look at Ranma and said, "I have to go. Major
Katsuragi wishes to discuss something with me."
As Rei walked out of the door, Ranma let out a sigh and slumped back
into the hospital bed. Left alone, she contemplated out loud, "Rei
wouldn't want to have hot lesbian sex with me... would she?"
Outside the door to Ranma's room, Shinji, who'd come to wish her well,
passed out with a massive nosebleed.
