Hey yo,
You're a lot kinder to this fic than I would be, Mr. Jamison. I don't usually
give out C&C, since I consider myself too biased towards certain characters
and situations (Ranma, Akane and their relationship) to consider my comments
to possess much merit, but Mr. Lee succeeded in boiling my blood by creating
a warped, OOC psycho-bitch Akane rivaling any portrayal produced by the Bet.
Granted, I was very tired when I read it, and considering the past episodes
of Alternate Future (which all but scream 'I Hate Akane') I really should
have known better. Yes, I'm an Akane fan-boy (though I prefer the term
'mark') though I try not to be too obnoxious about it, and I don't think
she's a 'perfect goddess', to coin a phrase. But sometimes something sets me
off (a review by Red Death did the same thing recently). I know I shouldn't
bother, since I'm not going to change anyone's mind and it matters for very
little in the long run... but hell with it. Alternate Future happens to be in
the wrong place at the wrong time.

anyways and damn the social repercussions?]
I've been kicking around the idea for a while. I was going to call it Akane's
Path or something like that, having it as sorta a counterpoint to Path of the
Wolf. God knows when or if I'll ever get to it, considering how slow I write.
Arthur Hansen has a story on his webpage called Unwanted that deals with it.
