Prologue: "Wish away!"
"Ranma, come back here. I did this dish just for you." yelled Akane to
Ranma,
her fiancee for the last four years.
Ranma for his part was running and jumping from one rooftop to another
as
fast as he could do it with Akane in hot pursuit.
"No way, I want to live!" exclaimed Ranma between jumps.
"Shampoo happy Airen take Shampoo on date!" Shampoo cried and gave chase
on her bicycle. She was doing some deliveries and was returning to the
Nekohanten when she saw Ranma and 'Pervert Girl'.
"Why me!"
That when Ryoga decide not to be lost and joined the party.
Ukyou soon follow, Mousse two blocs later, and for good measure
Cologne aka 'Old Ghoul', with a nice little 'Gift' for her son-in-law
or against him in most case, when he pass in front of her restaurant.
"I would have to asked!" Ranma muttered after he got a good look behind
him
to see all of his 'friends', most of them not knowing why they were
running, jumping or pogoing after him.
That when Cologne somehow reach him to pine the tricket on his back,
but just before she could speak, Ranma turned around yelling:
"I wish you would just leave us alone, I'm sure they didn't have as
much problems thousands year ago!"
Cologne had her eyes wide from shock, bigger than normal anyway, and
said:
"What have you done?! That's a destiny's ring." while pointing to
the 'gift' she had just pined down on his chest.
"And?" Ranma asked, filled with dreaded about another wish craps,
nones of which seemed to work like they should have around him.
"You shouldn't be here at all. This Destiny ring should have redirect
you where your wished destine you to be."
All the other had stopped when they had witness Cologne and Ranma
talking about a 'destiny's ring' nonsense.
"What great grandmother meant?" Shampoo asked not sure of herself.
"Normally a destiny's ring worked immediately after a wish is made,
through with Ranma, magic rarely work like it should."
Cologne explained to Shampoo, not saying anything about why she had it
in the first place.
"I don't wanna use it anyway, keep it!" Ranma said, dropping the
Destiny's Ring
in Cologne hands.
"Oh well! Son-in-law, later." Cologne said and pogoed away.
Why the ring didn't worked still puzzled her even if she was relieved.
She had intended to used it to wished them back in the Amazon's village
with Ranma as Shampoo's husband and maybe getting ride of Mousse while
she was at it.
'Can't win them all even if one is three hundred years old.' Cologne
thought.
"Baka! She had intended to make you married to Shampoo and you gave it
back."
yelled Akane at Ranma, a mallet ready to use.
"Not my fault. How was I suppos' to known?" Ranma yelled back,
nervous about the mallet his fiancee was waving before his noze.
The others were watching the match like a game of tennis between
Ranma and Akane, depending who's talking or yelling.
"If you were not so stupid you would!" Akane yelled, her battle aura
showing in the blue spectrum.
"Kawaikune!"
Now to understand what happened next, we should slow down and
examine the event in sequence.
First: A kettle of cold water dropped on Ranma from above turning him to
his
girl's form.
Second: Akane tried to mallet Ranma-chan into low orbit for the insult.
Third: Lightning hit them both when Akane make contact with Ranma
with her mallet.
Fourth: The wished made earlier by Ranma activate.
But all we saw was a flash of light when Akane's mallet hit.
Ranma and Akane were nowhere to be found after that.
"Airen!"
"Ran-chan!"
"Ranma-sama!" Kodachi, who had just arrive,
shouted along with the two other girls.
"Akane-san?!" Ryoga said in shocked.
The two were never seen again.
The Amazons went back home after Cologne was unable to bring Ranma back
and the destiny's ring had overload and turn to dust when she had tried
to used it.
Ryoga got lost and finally found Akari.
Sound was taking it normally though the last deluge was less stressful.
Kasumi married Dr. Tofu and her new husband learn the Anything Goes
from Soun to help carried on the family's style.
They added a small clinic to the Dojo after a year.
Nabiki enter her first year of university while doing a job on the
side.
Better not know what kind of job.
Ukyou was in shocked the first couple of months and finally got over it
with Konatsu help and married him two years later.
Nokoda Saotome, after she had learn of her son disappearance,
divorced from Genma and move to America while Genma was still
in hiding, not knowing about it. Something to do with sepuku.
Hiroshi and Daisuke were sorry not to be able to see Ranma-chan anymore.
Sayuri and others near friends of Akane were happy for them because
they were together. Akane had accidentally confided in them about her
love
for Ranma a couple of days before they both vanished.
Happosai wasn't happy when he learned of it but got over it
with a couple of 'silky darling'. A lot of them.
Kodachi and Tatewaki you asked?
They continue as usual: Her laughting and him ranting.

Chapter One: "Life, thousand of years ago!"
[Moon's Palace, Silver Millenium]
"Serenity! It's a girl!" the MedMagi announced to her Queen.
"We would hope so! We never have boy in our lines." the Queen replied,
happy to be ride of so much extra weight.
"So true my Queen." Sailor Pluto said from behind her.
She had just appeared as was usual for her.
"Trying again to surprise us?" Serenity asked her old friend from her
bed.
"I always tried though I don't know when I will succeed." Pluto said
while
smiling at the baby in her Queen's hands. She frown a little but let
it be for now, she just took a peak at her future and would have made
a double face-fault if she didn't have perfect control over herself.
"This child is already destine for great things.
I would recommended to my Queen to teach her all about being a proper
Princess and to be a Lady before her seven birthday is to happen."
"We will." said the Queen, not one to ignore any recommendations from
the
Guardian of the Time Gate.
'I wonder where the red hair came from' Serenity thought to herself,
comparing it with her pink one from before she became Queen.
Pluto had just disappeared through a portal while her Queen was lost in
thought.
The only one who witnessed Pluto departure was the baby who giggled
at the 'trick', already more aware than a newborn should be.
[Later at the Time Gate]
"Now, what could have cause this mess." Sailor Pluto was talking to
herself,
a sign of old age, but with her being the Guardian of the Time Gate, was
no surprising.
With the help of the Time Key she was viewing recent event in detail.
In the center of the portal, we could observe what had happened in
Nerima in another dimension. Sailor Pluto didn't have the power to
change the outcome that happened there but at least she hoped to
understand the mess better.
After she saw the wish result, Pluto wave with her Time Key to
continue forward.
Now she observed Chaos itself, trying to change the wish purpose
to have Ranma-chan take the place of the soul destine to give life
to Serenity's daughter just a few seconds before it could take hold.
Sailor Pluto was in shock. Chaos, somehow, was able to change destiny
on a scaled Pluto was forbidden to correct and the power of the
Serenity's
was already bond to Ranma. For better or worse is still unknown.
Worse of all, Ranma was immune to her time's sense by his chaotic nature
when the magic of his curse had merge completely together with Ranma.
'I will have to wait for thing to stabilize, there is too much chaos
right now' the Guardian of the Time Gate thought after she became
aware of a severe headache cause by the splitting of her timeline
a couple of month ago when Ranma's soul modified the timeline
so much to force a split.
A timeline would remain stable only if one could ultimately correct
the anomaly without doing too much change themselves.
If not correct, it's result in a split where the original timeline
remain unchanged and the split timeline show the result of the
alteration.
She just happened to be in the alteration.
She got thought a dozens of such change and had remained in the
mainline but not this time.
She had even detected time travel on the astral plane, which was
even harder to correct. Physical plane is a pain, astral plane
is out of her juridiction altogether.
[Earth, Palace of King Endymion. Four years earlier]
"Endymion! Here's our son." his Queen present King Endymion a baby boy
of a few days old, thin blue-black hair could be seen on his head.
While the two rulers of most of Earth were playing with the small boy,
Pluto was observing all this from the future, trying to understand
how a mess like that could have happened.
For her, it had been more than a years before her time's sense became
stable again and what she had discover since didn't pleased her at all.
'What a mess!' she thought not for the first time
'At least the headaches are gone'
[Moon's Palace. Seventh birthday of Princess Serenity]
"What a tomboy you made, Serenity!" Rei, Princess of Mars teased
the Moon Princess.
They were playing in a garden near the Moon's Palace and Serenity, with
her red hair in twin pigtail, had climb in a tree.
"Im not!" Serenity said from her perch.
"You are!" Rei replied from the ground.
"Im not, Im not, Im not!"
"Yes, you are a Tomboy!" said Rei in her teasing mode when dealing with
her best friend, though she would denied it if one were to point this
out.
"WAAHHHHHHH, you are so mean!"
"And you are a Tomboy!"
"I'm a man damnit!" Serenity yelled at last.
"That's a new one, you are a Tomboy but a man? Not from where I'm
standing,"
Rei decide to teased her friend full out
"though I could be mistaken, I had never play with boy before."
"Did I just said something stupid?" the Moon Princess asked Rei,
too confused to do anything else.
"As usual." Rei could not pass the change to tease her.
"I think I need a break" began Serenity, fainted and dropped from the
tree
a significant number of meters, to the ground compose of herbs and
humus.
They were under the Palace's windows of their respective mothers
and Princess Serenity had yelled loud enough to be heard by them.
They both teleport to joined their daughter after Serenity had dropped.
"What happened?" asked the Moon's Queen to Rei.
"I don't know. One moment she was yelling about being a man. The next
she was confused, fainted and dropped from her perch from that tree."
replied Rei to them.
A portal was heard opening behind them. From it Sailor Pluto was
seen walking out and went to kneel down at the side of Princess Serenity
and put her hand on her forehead for a few seconds.
The two Queens and the young girl didn't know what she was doing here
but say nothing until Pluto stand up and announced:
"The event I talk to you about at Princess Serenity birth will take
place shortly. Take her to her room and remain with her.
Only you three could be there when she awaken, no one else,
especially not a moon cat."
With that said, she opened another portal and went through it.
[Time Gate]
'Normally I wouldn't intervened but there is ways too many
possibilities.
Some when they talked about what the Princess said, another where a
servant
heard all what was said, gossips about it and its been use somehow to
bring Serenity down. With so many others alternative and too many
outcomes'
'This Ranma really got on my nerve and I'm suppose to protect her'
thought Sailor Pluto in frustration.
[Princess Serenity's Bedroom]
"Why Pluto asked us to be the only ones to await for Ser recovery?"
asked Rei.
Princess Rei was just a little older than Princess Serenity.
At seven she was on the way to become one of the best fire's prietess
and later Sailor Mars if she so wish.
"We don't have any idea about that. Pluto is always so mysterious."
replied Rei's Mother to her child.
Queen Serenity was a the side of her daughter, who was on her bed still
unconscious.
"Be well my daughter" the Queen pried, too low to be heard.
Rose seemed to be the predominant color in Princess Serenity's bedroom
but the Queen didn't seemed to notice her surrounding at all.
She was anxious to learned of the changes Pluto envisioned seven years
ago.
[Mindscape of Princess Serenity]
Memories long forgotten were playing in her mind.
Images of a fight with a boy with a yellow bandanna and a red umbrella
he used to fight. Another boy with white robe was using what could
be better describe as all except the kitchen sink in his fighting style.
After those two simultaneous fight than a pigtail boy was winning
even with such odd, the same boy later was seen battling again
a being with wing, dodging fireball big enough to obliterate him if
they'd connect and later freeze and shatter the wing's being.
Briefly, a girl with blue-black hair appear and soon all become
clear to her.
This dream was crazy, no way around it.
Except maybe the last image.
Akane seemed to be the girl's name.
She just didn't know how she knew that name either.
She didn't had the time to think further when another dream began.
The fact she could think in a dream so clearly was unusual for her,
but she didn't have a choice it seemed, because other images and
memories were playing in her mind at high speed, trying to put a
lifetime of memories in her.
She was able to resisted a little, but nearly all the memories of one
'Ranma Saotome' were remembered in the end.
[Princess Serenity's Bedroom]
Princess Serenity was gradually regaining consciousness.
'ohh, what hit me?' Ranma thought.
'Its Ranma right?' he thought in alarm.
'Who's Serenity then?'
'I'm Serenity'
'its stupid, I never play with other girls like that'
'Ukyou maybe but I thought she was a boy at the time'
'I'm a Princess. That's a new one. Only girls are Princess anyway'
"Oh Shit!" she yelled, now totally awake and in shock after realizing
she was a girl which wasn't a good thing for Ranma who had been locked
as one more often than he care to think about.
"Serenity..." her mother protested the use of such language but stop
when
she realize her daughter was finally awake.
"Hello mom," said Ranma to her mother. Ranma had all the memories
and skill of Princess Serenity in addition to her own as Ranma Saotome,
Master of the Anything Goes School of Martial Art and she wasn't a happy
camper.
'Where Akane' Ranma thought in panic.
"Are you well?" her mother asked.
"I think so, but I'm very hungry right now." replied her daughter.
"Ok, but first, could you explained your comment of this afternoon about
being a man?" Queen Serenity asked curiously because she sure couldn't
asked Sailor Pluto about it.
'One never know with children, they invent such silly games at time' the
Queen
thought while waiting a reply, which was taking way too long to come.
Ranma, with a bit of worried, was thinking:
'If I tell her the truth, but she would think I took over her daughter's
mind,
but if I lie, she would immediately know about it.
My last option is the Saotome Secret technique from Pop, but
Mother is too powerful for me to get away with it.
Maybe,... oh oh! She's waiting, I can't delay much longer'
Ranma paused and resumed after using the Saotome Secret Technique
revised #9
fake an headache: 'Wait a minute here, I thought of her as Mother,
maybe
I can just tell her the true, just not all of it. At least she won't
insist for me to commit sepuku. I hoped?!'
"Mom, I seemed to have awakened some memories from a past life,"
the Princess began hesitantly and finish more confidently when
she thought of what to say next: "I think I will be all right
after a goodnight of sleep."
Her Mother was curious to know who's memories but she had seen enough
case of it to be able to wait a night longer and replied to her
daughter:
"Ok Princess, we will talk further about it tomorrow."
Ranma cringed to be called 'Princess' while the Moon's Queen and her two
guests leave Princess Serenity to rest and got out of her room and began
to talk about this new situation with Rei making comments from times
to times.
In her room, Ranma was thinking very hard:
'Ok, the first thing is I don't want them to call me Princess,
Serenity or Ser. But Ranma is out too. Too masculine.
Ranko maybe?! The Meaning of 'Wild Child' wouldn't please
Mother, except than she don't understand Japanese
and if no one else speak it around here, which I doubt,
that should pass easily. Nothing can go wrong!'
"Ha! I should known better than tempt fate!" she said out loud.
As Ranma, he had encountered even more problems after saying something
stupid like that.
While reluctant, Ranma was looking around of herself to make sure
nothing was about to go wrong, she decided than the end of the world
could wait until tomorrow and went back to sleep.
That much thinking and the event of the day had exhaust her.
[Queen Serenity's Royal Suit]
The Rei's Mother was talking to Queen Serenity about said event
while they were both sit on a cosy couch like old friend.
"Your daughter seem a little out of it after she had awakened tonight.
Why do you think Pluto warned you and why I didn't known about it?"
Rei's Mother asked.
"We didn't deem necessary to warned you or anyone else.
The warning was only to help in the upbringing of Serenity
without saying much about anything else."
"And what of those memories she claimed to have?"
"You know as We know than memories of past lives are awaken as need
by Senshis or Knights and, in fact, are one of their power as
Avatar." Serenity replied.
"Yes, but not at seven years old."
"The times to come will be very trouble. Pluto warned me about it."
explained Serenity.
"We will have to get ready for troubles then. Could I impose and let
my daughter remained on the Moon for a year or two? Our daughters
seemed to like each others and would enjoy the times they can
spent together here. I will be able to get Mars ready more
easily that way." asked the Queen of Mars to Queen Serenity.
"We would like that. Our daughters would, no doubt, jump in joy to
hear this. I wish you a safe return home and keep me informs of
your progress."
"Thank. Goodnight my friend." Rei's Mother replied informally to
close their little talk.
While the Queen of Mars was taking her leave, Serenity was thinking
about those new memories her daughter had remembered that day.
She was worried more than she let anyone know. That wouldn't be
the first time than old memories would take control over one so
young. She would have to see the extent those memories affect her
daughter before taking any actions one way or the other.
[Morning, Moon Palace]
In the garden behind the Palace, Ranko, who has awaken early,
was practicing her basic katas. There are really no way she could
jump ten meter or more for somes of them so she had to keep to the
basic for now.
After she finished her work-out, Ranko decided to practice some
of her special technics.
Some guard was watching her from a distance partly for security
reasons and also in awe. The Royal family had never practiced
martial art and it's a shock to him to see one who seem already
good at it.
The guard didn't think he would be need as much if the Princess
was already that good.
When suddenly...
"You know, you could join me in my practice by sparing with me." Ranko
request from the guard. He was startled because she said it from
behind him when she was at least a hundred meters in front of
him not too long ago.
Evidently, Ranko was practicing one of the Saotome Secret technic
of the 'Umisenken' to disappear in hidding one own Ki.
This technic didn't needed much Ki which made it perfect to practice
with.
"Princess, I can't do that." said the Guard while trying to calm down.
"Could you call me Ranko, please?" asked Ranko while trying to look
kawaii.
The Guard gulped and replied:
"That not proper to use anything else than your title, Princess
Serenity."
"Please, at least when we are not in an official situation?!" pleaded
Ranko,
kawaii look two hundred percent higher.
"You win, Ranko." the Guard's guard dropped before his princess pleading
look.
"Yatta!" Ranko exclaimed and added as an after thought: "could you
notify
the other guard of this change, please!" turning the kawaii look again.
'At least now I can make use all the weapons a girl body has to offer'
thought Ranko when she saw the effect of her antic, but sad when
she thought of her previous mother.
The Guard saw the sad look pass through princess serenity look and
accepted to repand the change.
He replied to Ranko: "Ok Ranko, I will do so." with a smile on his face.
"Now, about this sparring match!" Ranko announced and went to a
zone of the garden wide enough to this activity.
"Ranko, are you sure? I can easily hurt you, especially at seven?"
"Yes I'm sure and we won't go for strength but skills mainly.
Don't put to much power behind your moves and I will do the same."
Ranko explained to him after he positioned himself at a good
distance for sparring.
Ranko knew very well her body wouldn't be able to withstand the full
power of a punch and intend to change it fast.
While they were warming up, Ranko's Mother was talking to Rei in
the throne room.
"Rei, how would you like to remain here for the next year." Queen
Serenity
asked Rei, who was trying very hard to keep her composure in front
of the crow, mainly compose of Senshis, Guards and guests.
"I... would like thaat" Rei replied, unsure of herself.
'Where my mother anyway' thought Rei.
"We are certain you will like to keep Princess Serenity companies."
the Queen smiled and turned to other matters.
"yes" replied Rei, and seeing as she was dismissed, walked out of there.
Queen Serenity, after Rei went out of the door, asked her advisor,
a black cat with a yellow crescent moon on her forehead whos named
is Luna, about general's affairs in the kingdom with a simple node.
"My Queen." Luna bow, as much a cat could do such a thing and
began her report:
"On the moon we have received the usual protests.
On Earth, there seemed to be some dissensions in the population,
they are mainly objections to our commercial politics with the
outside of Pluto's orbit. From the Kingdom of Mercury to Pluto,
nothing of interest to report today." Luna concluded.
"Very well. Keep an eye on Earth, we will wait to see what develop.
We won't do a thing if we don't need to. Better to let them
govern themselves." the Queen ordered casually.
"If nothing else, We need to go see our daughter." she added.
When Luna seemed to want to follow, the Queen commanded:
"No Luna, We will go alone and resume your duty."
"Yes, my Queen" the black cat replied, bow and went on her way.
[In the Garden]
The Queen was walking in view of the Royal's Garden when she saw
on of the Guard assigned to her daughter, assaulting his charge.
She start to ran, frantic to arrive in time.
"What's the meaning of this!" ordered the Queen when she arrive near
them.
That stop them short of each other and Ranko, after regaining her
breath,
exclaimed to her mother: "Mom, we were just practicing my martial art!"
Such lack of manner stop the Queen short, looking at her daughter
like a lab specimen, trying to determine what species Ranko was.
The Guard, for his part, was afraid for his life. He had been very
careful while sparring with the Princess but the Queen didn't seemed
to think so and the delay for a reaction didn't help any.
Finally Queen Serenity asked: "What martial art?"
Ranko, after finally remembering she didn't know any Martial Art,
decide to smile and look pretty for her Mother.
That didn't work, but she tried anyway.
After an uncomfortable minute of indecision for Ranko, hell for the
Guard and
worried for Queen Serenity, Ranko replied:
"Mom, we need to talk" and added, not receiving a replied: "Privately."
A little later in the Queen's private chamber.
No need to say its magically seal against spy.
"Now, daughter, I want to know all about it." asked Queen Serenity to
her nervous daughter.
'How can I explain I made a stupid wish and I reincarnated as her
daughter'
Ranma said out loud, not noticing at first her little error.
"WHAT!"
'Mother seemed upset now' Ranma absent mindedly note, too much in her
own
thought to panic. yet.
"You possessed my daughter then" the Queen began and added after taking
a
decision: "only one thing to do, cleansing my daughter from evil!"
she finished high enough to get Ranma out of his thought, just in
time to dodged the first silver blast.
"HEY! WHATDYA DO THAT FOR?!" Ranma yelled from the ceiling, twenty
meters high.
To say she didn't remained here long was an understatement when her
mother
blast another attack her way.
Now she was on the wall, stuck there like glue, yelling:
"STOP THAT, THAT'S HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH POSSESSION!"
Queen Serenity stopped short from shooting another silver blast
of pure moon power stronger than the last two.
"It's not? What was it then?" she asked her 'daughter?', wishing to
know
how she could adhering on a wall like that.
Or the ceiling for that matter.
"I just received all the memories of one Ranma Saotome, age twenty-two,
Grand-Master of the Anything Goes School of Martial Art." Ranma said
quickly in hoped not to be 'Cleanse' or kill because of a little
misunderstanding.
"And I have also all my own memories about being your daughter." Ranma
added
as an after thought.
'A classic case of reincarnation?' the Queen pondered on this.
'And I had never be prone to jump to conclusion like that before.
What is happening to me' Queen Serenity asked to herself,
worried than she was becoming evil which sent shiver down her spine.
After Ranma had land near her mother, ten meters was near enough for her
anyway, she asked, worried: "Mom, are you ok?"
After a minute of silence, her mother hesitantly replied:
"We think so," and added: "We will have to monitor you for the next
while.
At seven, to have memories from someone of twenty-two reawakening in you
could erase or supplant your own memories if we are not careful."
"Don't worried, I'm fine. Those memories don't even come close to
what I have learned as a Princess. And anyway, I was a man last time."
For some reason, the Queen face-fault.
"That hurt!" she exclaimed, not in the habit to do such a thing.
"I know that far too well. I hope not to use it too often either."
Ranko
replied, now that she decided thinking/switching/juggling between names
like she did was not healthy.
And 'Ranko' was also an alias for her before,
its should work just as well now too.
"And could you call me Ranko, I'm more likely to replied to that name
than
Princess or Serenity?"
"Ranko? What its meant?"
"That means 'Wild Child'." her daughter replied, who had calm down
now than her mother had stop trying to 'cleanse her'.
"We will have Luna examine you. She's the mind specialist and should
have more information about what happened." Queen Serenity replied
after
accepting for now the change of name.
Ranko evidently fling and took a step back, looking like she had just
see her worse nightmare.
"What is the matter,... Ranko?" her mother asked, with an hesitation
on the name, when she saw Ranko looking frightened for some unknown
reason.
Ranko was shacking for a while and her mother walked to her and took her
in her arms to try to calm her.
"You can talk about it to me, you know." told a mother to her shacking
daughter.

Blinking a couple of times, Ranko asked: "Are you relate to Kasumi?"
"Kasumi?"
"I guess not then" Ranko replied to her own question.
'stupid, stupid' she thought.
'At least I don't think of cat anymore'
Ranko shiver and thought some more:
'Hard not to think of something you don't wanna thing about'
"We will warn Luna to use her human form. But she won't appreciated it
at all."
Queen Serenity announced, las of all those revelations, she thought:
'Wild Child'. That suit her' and took a deep breath.
She just didn't knew yet how much she was right.

Chapter Two: "In the wilderness of space."
[Throne room, Moon's Palace]
A month later.
"Anything new regarding Princess Serenity?" Queen Serenity asked
Artemis,
her temporary advisor.
Artemis had been called back from Venus because Luna was busy taking
care of Princess Serenity full time for the last month.
The black cat was a pain too, what with her being in human form most
of the time now.
The white cat with a yellow crescent moon on his forehead
replied to his Queen, who was on her throne:
"Nothing new, except 'Ranko', somehow, was able to attain lunar orbit.
How she did that, I have no idea."
"That would probably be the gravity's belt we gave her when she asked
last week." Queen Serenity said out loud, beginning to take Ranko
for what her name really meant after a month of dealing daily with
her training attempts.
'Who would have thought she meant to use a gravity's belt to do
aerial kata?' the Queen shock her head at the thought.
"WHAT! Sorry! Didn't meant to yelled. It's just that it isn't proper
to give that kind of thing to a child of seven." Artemis complained,
trying not to gave the impression than he disapproved of his Queen's
gift to her daughter.
"That is of no concern. She has already the maturity of someone twice
her age.
The only problems is than she has a fixation on martial art and
absolutely refuse to wear a Senshi's uniform."
"Why would she has to anyway? Not like she could become a Senshi."
said Artemis while he blinked a couple of times in confusion.
"She had informed me she will become the Moon Senshi eventually.
We scanned her with the Silver Crystal and found out than her starseed
has the potential for her to become one of the most powerful Senshi."
"I found suspicious for her to know all this.
Did she gave any explanation?" asked Artemis with his usual lack
of manner when in a strategic's situation.
"Ranko only said she was feeling like Sailor Pluto at time like those."
the Queen paused and added: "Sailor Pluto herself warned us about
Princess Serenity's uniqueness."
"I will have to ask Ranko about this then." Artemis conceded the point.
No way he would tried to second guess the Time's Senshi after all.
"And in magic, any improvement?" asked the Queen.
"Luna progress with Ranko seemed good so far. She had tutored Ranko
in magic, especially in healing spells. Ranko progress in them went
very well so far. In other area, it isn't so good. In advanced
magic's theories Luna didn't seemed to hold her attention without
Ranko going to sleep. In protocol, it's even worse but Ranko had keep
her previous knowledge in it at least. And Ranko is still afraid
of me when I say her this morning." Artemis completed his report
about the Moon Princess.
When he saw the Queen only waiting for more, he resume with Rei.
"Now Rei is another matter. She tried to play with 'Ranko' at the
beginning but gave up and had began to train along side her friend.
Now I evaluated Rei to be as skill as a Guard, if not in strength.
She even had been able to access her Senshi power with Ranko's help."
"Which power?" the Queen asked, curious to heard that one.
"Fire Soul's attack. A weak one but its powerful enough to be
dangerous."
said Artemis, 'for a cat' he didn't added.
Princess Rei didn't like to be spy upon.
Artemis, having completed his report, was waiting patiently.
Or tried to anyway.
"Very well done. Keep us inform more often than once a week next time."
said the Queen and dismissed the white cat with a node.
Artemis bow to her and exited while muttering something about
healing spells working on fur.
[Training Hall, five kilometers away from the Moon Palace, sometime
before]
"Rei, could you come here, please?" Princess Serenity aka Ranko asked
her best friend.
They both wear Gi, a red one for Rei and a white one for Ranko.
Ranko was presently examining a belt when Rei approached her from
behind.
"What is it?" Rei asked Ranko after she got around her friend.
"My gravity belt. It's not enough anymore. I'm already at 2.61G from
Jupiter
and I'm not ready yet for the 27G of the sun. Any idea how I could
augment
gradually in place of using celestial body's gravity?" Ranko asked Rei,
looking at her expectantly.
Rei was more aware of the technology then Ranko, being trained to be a
priestess since she was five.
"Can I see it please?"
"Sure, take a look." Ranko pass the belt to Rei and was waiting for her
to finish.
The belt was silver, not larger than 2 inch with a circular buckle and
a yellow crescent moon on it.
"Let see, Ranko, you set this belt with moon gravity as a default. If
you
want to augment the gravity, you just set Earth gravity as the
default and set the gravity setting for the Sun. That should
give you:" Rei was calculating it from memory:
"let see, 27.9G multiplied by 1G multiplied by .16G for the moon should
give you ... 4.46G as a result. A little better than 2.61G from
Jupiter.
Eu?" Rei had just stopped to see Ranko looking as if she was in great
pain.
"Are you ok?" Rei asked her friend with concern.
"Yeah, just a headache. Could you just set it up to 4G and be done
with it, please?" Ranko asked her.
"she's worse then Mercury, and she's just seven" Ranko muttered.
"Oh, it's already set." replied Rei and pass Ranko the belt,
not noticing Ranko muttering.
As Ranko had activate the belt, she had nearly been flatten in the dust.
"AHHHH! That will take a while to become acostome to.
One question though, how did you set another default then the moon?"
"Maybe your mother remove the spell that detect the
current gravity?" Rei suggested.
"I think I asked something like that when I told her about it,
I just forgot to asked her about all the neat features." explained
Ranko
while she tried very hard to remained on her feet because gravity
was heavier than usual.
[Later. Moon Palace]
After changing, the two friends were getting on their way to the
Throne's room.
"Rei, where did you learned all that stuff about Gravity's Belt?" Ranko,
now in her white Princess gown, asked Rei who was in a Red one.
Ranko didn't like much to dress like that but she had learned early
to follow some traditions or land in a lot of troubles, some times
literally.
"I had been using one occasionally when I went to planets with heavy
gravity
in good part because Mars is only at .38G. I can't hoped to go out and
suffer 1.0G or more and shopping, the packages would have been too
heavy."
explained Rei seriously.
"Shopping? Yuk, more girls stuffs!" replied Ranko in a tone of horror
in her voice.
"You loved shopping. Last year on Venus you didn't seemed bothered by
it."
said Rei in surprise.
"Just say it take times away from my training." Ranko replied
uncomfortable
all of a sudden. No way she would explained Ranma Saotome to her
friend.
While they continue their trek through the Palace to the Throne room,
they
became lost in their thought.
"CCCCCAATTTT!"
"Hello Artemis. Please, don't scared Ranko like that." Rei admonished
the white cat who was busy getting away.
Ranko had again taken root on the ceiling to Rei amusement.
"He's gone now, you can get down." Rei said to her friend.
"Yo, you suureee?" Ranko asked.
"Yes, certain."
"Ok" and Ranko dropped to the floor.
<CRACK!>
Or should have been the floor but at 4.46G she went through it instead.
"OUCH! Why ME!" Ranko half yelled in pain from the sub-basement.
"Do you want me to call for your mother? A healing spell maybe?" Rei
offered
to her friend, barely restraining herself for laughing out loud.
It wasn't the first times something ridiculous happened to Ranko after
all.
"a healing spell would do right now" said Ranko while she was in pain
because of her left leg and arm she'd broken in the crash.
[Moon Palace, Throne room]
"You wanted to see me, My Queen." said Luna in front of the throne of
Queen Serenity.
"Yes, it had come to our attention than the Senshi of Mars has awakened
sooner than expected. We want you to instruct both our daughter and
Rei
in their powers but don't activated them without consulting with us
first"
Queen Serenity told Luna and dismiss the black cat with a node.
"Teach my daughter some more healing spells, she will need them." the
Queen
announced as an after thought to the departing cat.
[Moon Palace]
In the tutoring room, where magic was mostly the only subject, we can
find
Princess Serenity aka Ranko and Princess Rei sitting gracefully for Rei
and
sleeping for Ranko. Luna was also present in human form.
"Queen Serenity just asked me to teach you advanced magic" Luna stopped
suddenly when she had constated than Ranko had fallen asleep as usual.
'That girl sleep more while tutoring than in her own bedroom' thought
Luna
while searching the better way to keep Ranko awake more then five
minutes at a times.
"Ah, I got it. ... Breakfast!" Luna finished loudly.
"Yatta!" exclaimed Ranko loudly, stand up and ran to the door.
"NOT SO FAST!" yelled Luna.
"What? I'm hungry." protested Ranko, not slowing longer than she had
too,
and disappeared through the door.
"Rei, I think you should go. No sense in giving this introduction
in magic more than once." said Luna, resignedly.

Later...
In the tutoring room once again, we can find Ranko and Rei relaxing
on their seats, trying to follow what Luna was tutoring them about.
Luna was in front of a board with images of henshin, the moon and other
relate Senshi items.
"So you see, Magic is all a matter of belief. If you believed you can
do something hard enough and have the right kind of power to do it,
you could do almost anything. Now, with the silver magic of Princess
Serenity, we have healing, cleansing and reality alteration as basic
powers plus a lots of alternates form of attacks. In Rei case, we have
mostly fire attacks and with her prietess training, the use of wards
again spirits and evils." Luna had began her tutoring as soon as her
two student had arrive and surprisingly Ranko hadn't fall asleep. Yet.
"Yes Ranko?" asked Luna, surprise to see Ranko put her arm up like that.
"Can we transform without the 'fuku'?"
"Could you, please, stopped using others languages?" Luna asked Ranko
not for the first times because Luna had no idea what 'fuku' meant since
it was said in Japanese and they didn't have the equivalent in any
languages
in used in the Solar System.
"The Senshi uniform if you prefer?" Ranko clarified.
"There is a possibility but not everyone can do it. I never personally
say such a feat but I have heard of a case three thousand years ago.
I can't really instruct you right now without the broach in your
possession.
I will help you when the time come, ok?" asked Luna to Ranko.
"Ok, could I have a henshin like the other senshi?" Ranko insisted.
"No, you can't. The reason why you have a broach is because the
Silver Crystal can only be connect to such a device to work properly."
Luna explained to Ranko.
Luna was beginning to found hard not to yell, she already instructed
Ranko on most of those matters before.
"Why?"
"AHHHhhhh!" yelled Luna in frustration, thought after thinking of it,
she
remembered she never got past that point in her explanations before.
"Ok. You know each henshin contain a fourth dimensional crystal to
store magic patterns from attacks, special powers and basic
transformations.
In addition to that, we also have the link to your respective planet.
Now, to access the Silver Crystal, we need a crystal with fourth
dimension to connect to the fifth dimension the Silver Crystal
possess."
"Wow!" exclaimed Rei, who had never heard of a fifth dimension and
only a basic notion on the fourth.
"That some kind of 'computer'?" asked Ranko, who possess only basic
knowledge
at best about such thing.
"'Computer'?" asked Luna.
"I meant if the crystals serve as a memory of sort." Ranko correct when
she had notice she had said 'computer' in Japanese.
"We can called them memory crystal even if they are much more than
that."
Luna conceded to Ranko.
"Why we need them if they are just memories?" Rei asked curiously.
"Ok, imagine you are a very powerful mage or sorceress and you want
to become a senshi. Now, we need a permanent force field's spell,
a disguise spell even if they aren't very useful in our case and
enhancement of strength and speed. All those spells can easily take
half
an hour to cast because of their complexity. Another problem is
those previous spells would have depleted our reserve of magic
and exhaust us greatly. Now, we have to teleport or run or
any others thing we need to do, and fight to the death in most case?
Only Queen Serenity has that kind of power to pull it off.
No one of the actual Senshis could at this time."
"What henshins give us exactly?" asked Ranko now than she found
something interesting to learn.
"A force field, disguised field, strength and speed enhancement,
better sense of hearing, better vision, a cleanup, make-up where
appropriate, jewelry, the senshi uniform with matching colors to
your planets and the light show we have at the beginning which
serve to hide your identity and blind or stunned the enemy."
"A little to much work without the henshins, I will keep it then." Rei
commented.
"And what about of the 'Fire Soul' Rei perform the other day?" asked
Ranko.
"That wasn't a senshi power but a basic fire spell. The fact than she
was able to shaped it was only because you described it to her first."
explained Luna to her two students and she added:
"And also those memory crystal learned to use the power more efficiently
the more you used them in relation with you. Not two people could
use the same memory crystal because they are synchronize with you
after some time and complete you in those area where you lack
either focus, power or control which is why if you feel sick, you will
have a harder time to use your power, though if you are always sick,
the memory crystal would adapted to eliminate that sickness if it can
through a general healing spell for example."
"Wow, it sure make things simple to have an henshin. Hey Ranko,
you heard me?" said Rei and asked her friend when she saw her asleep.
"What?" exclaimed Ranko looking around after awakening from her slumber.
"Ranko, at which part were you before failing asleep?" Luna asked her.
"Euh. Something about 'synchronize' I think." replied Ranko, sorry to
found out such an interesting subject was still enough to put her to
sleep.
"I see. I will continue from when you had fallen asleep then."
announced Luna
to a groaning Rei.
Ranko was just trying the 'I'm just a cute Panda' kind of face.
Though she didn't pull it off too well.
She's better at the Kawaii attack.

A couple of months later...
[Earth, Royal's Training Ground]
"Kunzite, how could you!" protested Jadeite, because he just learned
he had been assign to guard Endymion, a job he always consider as
babysitting.
They both wear their grey uniform which made them look like they were
in the military.
"That not too bad. Your only job will be to save the life of anyone
who would be stupid enough to upset Endymion because he could kill
someone without trying." replied Kunzite to his friend from childhood.
"Talk about killing! The last one we had to unglue him from the ground.
Endymion was sorry when that happened but he need to learn restrain
and fast." lamented Jadeite.
"Don't exaggerated, they were only two thieves. You could just consider
it as
early justice." Kunzite tried to console his friend without much
success.
"And That dawn mallet is unstoppable!" added Jadeited without really
listening to his friend.
"You should be able to stop it by telekinesis." suggested Kunzite.
"That just it! Telekinesis don't work on that mallet and I tried more
then once, and it wasn't magic or psi base either or even solid
to begin with." Jadeite said in frustration.
"Have you tried to stop his arms from moving?" inquired Kunzite, always
the
one to do most of the thinking it seemed.
"Oh. Didn't thought of that except if I tried it, I risk to broke his
arms. Endymion is way too strong to be stopped with minimal force."
"Since that horse's accident he hadn't been the same." Kunzite conceded
the point.
"I almost prefer him when he was just throwing roses. Anyway, I have to
go babysitting. Later." announced Jadeite and went to find the
Earth's Prince of eleven years old.
[Moon Palace during a Royal Ball]
"Princess, a plaisir to meet you." one more prince tried to take the
hand
of the Moon Princess aka Ranko...
<CRASH!>
... to kiss it.
Instead he kiss the wall.
Heey! its his loss.
"Princess!" Luna warned loudly her charge.
"Hey, not my fault, he was about to attack me. Just like Kuno, he had
the
same bearing, as if all he touch belong to him. I just save the guy
the
trouble of a beating." Ranko explained, Kawaii attack active at
maximum.
"He just wanted to kiss your hand." Luna explained just in case
an explanation was need.
"Kissing! Sound like an attack to me." Ranko replied with disgust
in her voice.
'at least she didn't asked him if he was a crossdresser' Luna thought
in defeat.
Ranko may be seventh near eight, but she still didn't like boy,
'Yuck!' didn't even began to cover it.
And anyway, any boy who tried to kiss her would make a good dummy in her
book.
While the guest were dancing, talking, running for their live when
they had tried to kiss Ranko or plainly being busy outside
to ... admired the Earthlight above the horizon?
Do we need to say busy with what?
Ok, Ok! They were kissing like there were no tomorrow.

A little later...
Ranko was busy at other thing like beating her first Youma, nothing
unusual.
She was having a blast though the Youma was a weakling.
"Princess! What did you do to the Prince of Venus?!" Luna protested the
treatment Ranko just inflicted to said Prince.
"That thing was a Youma, I just finished to beat the craps out of it."
Ranko
announced proudly.
"That's a Prince, not a Youma." Luna tried to explained to Ranko who was
just coming down from her high for battling such a monster.
"Prince are 'yucky!', Youma look just plain evil. You can't say this
thing
isn't evil. Look at those big red eyes, the three of them, his big
mouth full
of teeth, his big black claws, the two set and all in black fur if I'm
not
mistaken. After all that try to say it's a Prince." Ranko explained
each
feature of the Youma she had just beat up.
"That's just it, the Prince of Venus came to the ball thinking he had to
bring a costume and he chose one of a monster." Luna had used up all
her
patience to explained this.
"Oh. I will just have to knocked him in the wall then."
"I just expla..."
"No, I meant if he's a Prince, I have to give the same treatment
than the other. No favoritism." Ranko interrupted Luna.
Even if Ranko was trying to save face for such a mistake, she sure as
hell didn't want to dance with the hair head.
He's Mina brother after all...
[Moon Kingdom, the next day]
"Daughter, how did you like your first ball?" Queen Serenity asked
Ranko.
They were both in Ranko's mother private bedroom.
"That was good training. You have no idea how many dummy I saw there."
Ranko joke lightly.
"About that, I had received six complaints about you. You seemed to
have
knock out most of the Princes in attendance yesterday and badly beat up
the Prince of Venus. Now we know you thought he was a Youma except,
please, don't do it again. I don't think there will be any Princes
left willing to marry you if you continue like that." the Queen lecture
gently her hyperactive daughter.
"Good, I just need to scare the Prince of Earth and I'm done with that."
Ranko replied, her mind more on her plan to ensure than no marriage
would be
arrange for her than to what her mother just say.

[Moon Palace]
"You have something to report?" asked Queen Serenity from her throne
to Luna, who had just entered by the doors.
"Yes your Majesty. 'Ranko' had requested to go to Earth and I'm not in
favor
of such a voyage right now except she insisted than I asked you." said
Luna,
waiting for a replied in the negative.
"What a good idea!" exclaimed the Queen.
Luna nearly dropped from shock and only her belief in proper protocol
permit her to wait for her Queen to elaborated.
"You don't seemed please. We intend to go with her and you will follow
to continue her tutoring. Artemis will remain here for the four
days our voyage will take."
'Artemis as regent?!' Luna thought in alarm.
A good thing black fur could hide her thought so well.
"I will go give 'Ranko' the good new then." Luna replied reluctantly.
She didn't approved of Princess Serenity change of name but when the
Queen herself had accepted it...
'Protocol seemed to went out of the window lately anyway' thought Luna
while she went to announced the 'good new' to her charge.

A day later...
We see the voyage of the Starship 'Star Emerald', in route to Earth
with aboard the Moon's Royal Family, a black hair girl who's really a
cat,
a crew and a very big cargo hold, empty and ready to receive the
shopping
of Queen Serenity. Will they have enough space? the Gods only know
because Luna sure doesn't.
Oh, and don't forget the twelves Moon Knight.
We always forget about them anyway.
"When we eat?" Ranko asked Luna, who was in her human form.
"We just depart from the moon an hour ago, can't you wait?" Luna asked
and nearly flatten her forehead on the table when she thought how stupid
that sound when 'Ranko' was concern.
<GRRRMMMMMmmmmm>
Ranko stomach wasn't to be ignore or restrain either.
"I packed a snack in my subspace pocket just in case." said Luna and
began to extract said snack from said place to deposit all of it
on the table between them.
"Let see... a dozen sandwiches, a cake and lemonade for ten.
That should be enough for you to survive until we reach Earth
in fifty minutes." Luna announced to Ranko who was ignoring her
completely while she was eating all the sandwiches in record time.
The cake soon follow and the lemonade found the cake a couple of
seconds later.
'What a lack of manner. You had think she was afraid than someone
would try to steal her food' thought Luna, not knowing she was
right on it for once.
[Earth's Palace, outside in front of it]
"We go shopping today!" half said, half ordered Prince Endymion to the
four Earth's General before him.
"Shopping! Great!" exclaimed Jedeite with false great enthusiasm.
"Good idea, I needed some cooking ingredients anyway." added Neflite.
"yeah, fun" muttered Joycite.
"Where to my Prince?" asked Kunzite.
He was the only one who was still calling Endymion a Prince since
the horse's accident.
Event if Endymion felt uncomfortable when called that ever since.
"The one near here should do. Lets go!" announced Endymion and without
waiting does just that.
[Earth's shopping district]
After a walk of fifteen minutes, the five men reach their
destination, some more happy than others.
"Ok boys! I will go with Neflite. I need to buy cooking ingredients
too
for tomorrow!" when Endymion said that, all the other men got a look
of total horror except the Prince who didn't see it, forgetful of such
thing.
"To make its up to you, I will cook diner tonight." he added, took
Neflite
by his arm and nearly left Neflite behind without said arm.
"YEeehhhhh!" was the only sound heard from Neflite while they
disappeared in
the populace.
"You heard him." said Kunzite to his two remaining friends.
"Yes, we have to find a hole and never came out." Jadeite complained
again.
"No. We buy more medicines against poisoning and other hazard of our
Prince's cooking." corrected Kunzite, always the practical one.
"That too, but did they have such powerful anti-poison?" asked Jadeite.
"No, but I intend to take some before and after we eat and some more
before
bed." replied Kunzite.
"Zoicite, could you buy what we will need? three dozes each and an
extra
set for Endymion in case he try to eat some?" asked Kunzite after
turning
to look at Zoicite expectantly.
"Sure, I'm on it!" replied Zoicite and disappeared in the crow a second
later.
"What we do now?" asked Jadeite.
"You continue to complain, you are so good at it, and me I will
go have something to drink." Kunzite replied and went to do just that
before Jadeite could complain.
"HEYY! COME BACK HERE!" yelled Jadeite, attracting the attention of
most
of the crow.
He stopped and wished he could do the trick of pulling out a sigh with
on
it 'I'm just a cute Panda' like in one of Endymion's weird stories.
[Starport]
Aboard the Starship 'Star Emerald'.
The Starship from outside was green like an Emerald, glowing softly
in the daylight. Except for that, it was looking like a typical
Starship of transit for in-System travel.
>From inside the ship, near the exit.
"Daughter, we will go to our suite at the Inn first and later
we will go shopping. Anything you want to buy, asked Luna
for the money and get six of the Guards with you."
"Joy! Mom, can I beat them up too?" Ranko inquired, the Kawaii look at
full power.
That didn't work on her mother but always surprise Queen Serenity
by it intensity.
"Maybe later," her mother finally replied playfully.
As playfully as a Queen could get anyway.
