I have received enough updates to post this again, as well as some
commentary I felt the need to address. I won't repost again for a while unless
and until I receive enough updates for this to be worthwhile.
I had it pointed out to me that this might be seen as negative
commentary on various fanfic authors about the seeming slowness of their
writing, not taking into account that there is Real Life to be taken
care of, and that fan fiction writing is a voluntary process. This was
said to me in general, but also specifically about "Hearts of Ice". This
is not the case. I'm very well aware that fanfic writing is a laborious
process and is not taken up without a great deal of time spent and
mental effort. I commend anyone in takes the time to write a story, even
those I would personally consider bad, because of the effort, and often
emotional vulnerability of the author when they post a story. So if I
have insulted, hurt, or negatively effected any author by posting this I
apologize.
As for Krista's story specifically, while I did not intend for the
commentary to be negative toward her personally, I can can understand
how it could be seen as such. For this reason I have removed it, and I
wish her all the good feelings I can project. :) Take your time Krista,
a good story is worth waiting for.
There are also web sites for many of these stories, but I don't have
the addresses for all of them, or there hasn't been an update to them.
If I did have the web page in my bookmarks and was just too lazy to
check, (though I check several web sites on a semi regular basis) I'm
sorry for that.
