Heya,
This story has a nice depressing thing to it. One of the more serious in-depth type of fics I've read that wasn't necessarily dark.
Few questions though: I remember the (rather questionable) opening that this fic had (very, er, SI-like). Does that mean that this big-brother Ranma boy still have all his memories intact of his past life? Or maybe not?
Another thing... Genryu... not much concentration on him? I mean, the 'new' Ranma will now be the protagonist (as hinted by indications showing that it was this time _really_ Ranma's fault that they have so many powerful enemies after them), so Genryu's gonna be relegated to second shoe? Or maybe not?
Lastly... all indications show that this Ranma is rather a parody of how canon Ranma always deal with the punishments he gets... he's always the nice but arrogant guy that gets the brunt of the punishment, whether he likes it or not. This Ranma fights back, rather ruthlessly, to anything and anyone that screws with him... ather like that guy from the SI parody The Magical Knights (? not sure of the title of that one...).
