*shrugs* I get annoyed when people try to write my plot for me, so I
won't do the same to you. ^_^
Oh, please. I cherish every opinion I get--in fact, this whole revision
was caused by the C&C I got when I first posted. I am really thankful
you cared enough about the story to let me know what you think about it.
I just find it hard to see to Ranma motivated to be involved in
something
to that extent that doesn't involve martial arts.
In normal times, Ranma wouldn't give joining the army a second thought.
Extraordinary times, though, could force his hand--at least, that's my
opinion. I'll do my best to convince you about it.
Unless, of course, he takes the Battleoid mode to new and interesting
levels. :)
Well, that's a possibility, yes, taking the thinking caps into
account--which I do. In the past year, I've read some pretty convincing
arguments againt the existence of these in the original Robotech
universe, but as I'm going by McKinney's novels... Faithful to the end!

Well, though McKinney's novels had many Veritech battles in them, I
never got bored of them. But yes, dialogue and relationships will be
very important in this story.
Heh. I did, get bored of them, I mean, but that's just personal
preference.
Well, he _did_ have to write them through 20 books... *shrugs*
Yep. And there's another character you haven't mentioned which will
also be in the middle of it all. ^_~
*blinks* Someone who was mixed up in canon Robotech? Or are you
talking about 'Ranko'?
Um, I _did_ give you spoilers at FFIRC (which I won't post here), but
Ranko is as good a guess as any other. ^_~
Heheheh. Y'know, I hadn't thought about that. Neat idea, but I think
Rick would need years of training to reach Kyle's level. Or maybe
I'm overestimating Kyle?
Not sure... Rick was fairly fit. I think he could adapt to a few
neat techniques from Ranma.
That he could. But you must remember that Max himself was surprised when
he saw Kyle fight.
Now we _both_ should get back to writing, ne? ^_~
