NGE in Imperial Rome!

It most certainly is...^_^

Putting NGE characters in a different
historical/period setting can be really interesting as hinted at
by CoaEG where the cast are paralleled with characters in the
Kingdom of Joy. This fic takes that kinda thing all the way.

I first thought of this a couple years ago when I began 'The All-Americans'...I thought it might do with Ranma, but I happen to think that NGE is a better fit...

Certus Penator = Maya Ibuki
Mistura Kalendis = Misato Katsuragi
Effero Soter = Gendou Ikari
Aequus Neocorus = Kozou Fuyutsuki
Lycisca = Ritsuko Akagi
Flustra Caecus = Rei Ayanami
Lagena Aestus = Asuka Langley

Yup. That cast list is correct...Not entirely complete, but correct! ;)

Please correct me if I'm wrong on the above! I do think that the
Latinized names are an excellent touch - though the author could
idiot-proof the fic (for pple like myself) by creating a separate
file which has the cast list and a glossary of the geographic terms.

Thought about that...What do you, the readers at home, think? ^_~

Shouldn't be too hard to put something together...I'll addendum it to the next Chapter...

Mr Trujillo definitely succeeds in evoking the atmosphere of the
period and I really enjoyed these 2 chapters

Hmmm? What's unclear? Perhaps because I shifted to Caeles's POV?

I wanted to get a sense of confusion as he ran into the room...Apparently it worked! ;P

I'll try to be a little clearer in the future...Shouldn't be too difficult...
