formula, and that needs a semicolon at the end. that will also offset

Try to avoid contractions when narrating. In speech, it's ok, but
contractions are usually reserved for a person, which the abstract
narrator is not (unless it is one of the characters, or interacting with
the characters rather than just describing them; slightly altering
writing styles can be a good indicator of this, should you wish to
invoke this effect).

The form this fic manifests itself as is a test of my English literacy
skills. More than anything, it is proof to myself that I can write about
more than classes and linked lists in English.
I'd say the proof is successful, at least for a true/false test.
true/false as in csh or sh? the difference is csh has 0/1 for true/false
while sh has 1/0.
Apart from plot. I'm getting that covered, okay? :)
Y'ever hear of "character sketch" fics? This is what that was. It's a
perfectly legit form of fanfic, designed more to highlight one or more
aspects of a character than to tell a story.
Of course it's probably not a good idea to have authors notes take up
more than half the entire message body.
