How Chibi-Usagi Got Her Hair Pinked

It was supposed to be a joyous occasion. Well,
they DID celebrate the birth of the young Serenity, but
that was a different matter altogether.
No, the young child of Neo-Queen Serenity and King
Endyimon had blond hair. Yes, Young Serenity had hair
as yellow as the life-giving star that inhabitants of
Earth had named it as their Sun. After series of
testing, it had been concluded that the color was
perfectly normal and that there should have been of no
concern to everyone.
And thus it was the case of the concerns by
everyone. An impromptu meeting of the Senshi was
currently speculating this... unique problem.
"But how can that be? She's supposed to have
_pink_ hair, for Pete's sake! We saw her when she was
much older long time ago! So how in the world is this
possible?!"
"Genetics, Jupiter-chan," Mercury tried to
reassure her friend, "our Queen has blond hair, and
that trait was simply passed down on to her child."
"I'm glad that she's a blond, though. I mean, I
don't have to worry about being the only one with hair
like mine!" Venus bubbled, conveniently forgetting
about Uranus.
"But don't you understand? We KNOW that she's the
One who'll go into the past to help us, and bring them
to save our Queen while we're working to keep that
barrier in the place! But... for some reason, I can't
see Chibi-ah, Young Serenity as a blonde."
Mars shrugged. "Pluto's not having it easy either.
She's very close to pulling her hair out. She keeps on
ranting about 'preserving the Legend,' or something
like that. I'm sure..." She trailed off as she realized
something.
The rest of the group apparently had shared her
thoughts; Pluto was right. If this young girl was going
to be the same Chibi-Usa that they had sent into past
to help save their friend Sailor Saturn before the
darkness could claim her heart, then she _had_ to have
pink hair.
After all, they had to help maintain the legend of
the 'Pink Rabbit' who had helped Sailor Moon and her
friends defeat the Black Moon family in the past before
they could irrevocably alter their current timeline.
No, a blond Chibi-Usagi would not be acceptable;
to allow that would discredit the Legend, and
indirectly harm the young girl's prospects of being
accepted by her subjects as a potential heir to the
throne of Crystal Tokyo.
As one, everyone nodded in unspoken agreement:
Yes, the daughter MUST have the pink hair!

As the crowds of people cheered as they caught
their first glimpse of the young heiress held snugly in
Neo-Queen Serenity's arms, they saw a mop of pink hair
on Young Serenity's head. They then cheered even more
when they realized that she was the One.
During the bedlam, Mars quietly approached
Mercury. "You know, it never occurred to me in the past
that Chibi-Usa's hair might have been dyed."
End - appx 30 min.
Hard for me to believe that I'd actually finished onehour
fic in time...
