"I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU..." she
screamed, over and over again as she struck.

I think the words will hurt more than the kicks.
Of course, this is Ryouga we're talking about.

Ryouga blanched and turned green at Akane's
imprecations. He stood, only to be angrily slapped. He watched
for a second as Akane turned away for him and ran into Ranma's
waiting embrace. Burying her face in his chest, she began to
wail like a lost soul.

having trouble with your ls? ;> implecations

An imprecation is an insult or generally saying something bad about
someone ("I Hate You" does fit). an impl"I"cation is an accusation.

get a dictionary and look up words as you see them spelled before
assuming it's a misspelling of another word.

Any chance you can turn off the curse?
Well, you could probably explain it as Ranma learning the concept of
restraint during his time in the appartment.

The single largest complaint I've received about this story,
*any* of the 'Apartment' stories for that matter is that fact
that Urd spikes Ranma and Akane's drinks. I've had numerous
requests to change it, but I'm not going to.
Well the idea of Urd achieving her desired results on the first try does
go against her established character. Still if an infinate number of
monkies type random keys on infinate typewrighters, one of them will wind up
writing the script for Hamlet.

I'm just wondering why Ranma didn't ask to be cured. If Skuld
could turn it on and off, why can't she just leave it off?
   Very good question.

She was turning his alternate form on and off, i.e. her machine was
doing the same thing that hot/cold water does and no more.
