One possible bit of handling the backstory
Scene:
As the television reception cleared, up, Ranma stared at
show. "Pop, what's a mutant."
"Harumm, hold on, don't rush me. Tendo?"
nabiki stared at the two, "You really don't know?"
"Aren't like thare are a bunch of tv's or radios in
the parts of China pop dragged us."
"It'll be 5000 yen."
Impatient;y, Akane broke in, "Really Ranma, mutants are different.
They do things that nobody else can. One of them even started up
a group called the Brotherhood of evil mutants, and tried to take
over the world."
"What sort of stuff do they do?"
Know Ranma, Akane frowned, "Don't go trying to find one, They are
superstrong, they are really agile, they throw ener . . . " Akane's
voice trailed off.
"Relax, sis. Ranma isn't one if that's what you'e worried about.
Remember thst film we watched during the girl's classes. A mutant's
eyes glow red," Nabiki's splashed Ranma, "His are difinately blue."
