Sorry if this is spamming the list, but I had a fic idea that I
thought that I should bring up with you on the list before I started
work on it.
I had seen the nine minute preview for Metal Gear: Sons of Liberty,
and was absolubtely blown away. Then I started thinking how much Metal
Gear is like Neon Genesis, like I've been told for the past year. So I
was thinking of writing a crossover of Metal Gear and NGE. The basic
idea would be to incorporate most of what happens in the video trailor
in a fic that occurs at the time of the Third Impact (for those
interested, they can download the movie at ign.com). The storyline would
have a soldier who works for NERV (not Snake, but close) fighting
against the invading JSSDF, and, much like Sons of Liberty, has to
contend with the Eva units as well. I don't dare say any more, as I have
a couple of tricks up my sleeve and want to keep them a secret (those
who see the movie may have some idea on what I'm planning). Is this idea
worth pursuing? If you want to see this happen, E-mail me privately

to work on it.
