The thread is banned.

First of all, the author _specifically_ asked for private replies.  When
someone does this, please be polite enough to heed them--they're doing it
in an attempt to keep the list traffic down, and keep inappropriate spam
off the list.  

Secondly, the one-liner exchanges of spam that have been made in response
to the thread have no place on the list.
