Another possible (but closer again to Ranma's thinking) options with even
more dire (and this depends on the point of view of the writer and
Ranma) is of course:
R: Oh great, another one.
B: The Ultimate Force awaits your wish.
R: Brother, what you girls won't try. At least you're not hittin me like
that stupid Akane. I wish you'd all just leave me alone.
B (frowning slightly) (I know that's not what he really want's but he HAs
just asked for it for a wish. Kami-sama, what should I do? Ahhhh of
course. Arrigato)
(insert magical glow here)
B: your wish is granted.
R: Huh?
Now of course none of the girls are around....or if tey are they have
other interests. Akane treats Ranam as a friend of her fathers.
The terrible two (Soun and Gennma) sigh and comiserate
S: Wouldn't have been nice if we had decided on that arranged
marrage...your sone could have married my Nabiki and then both the
maritial arts nad financial security of the dojo would have been set.
Meanwhile Belldandy shows up as a new student (sort of working
undercover.)
She seems out of her element. and Ranma (who has no memory of his wish
befriends her) She of course wants to give him a REAL wish as opposed to
the "it's a wonderful life treatment.

The trio sat on the embankment of the resovior. The setting sun had begun
to stain the waters red.
"What do you mean?" Bell asked.
Akan watched the girl as she spoke. The new exchange student seemed ot
somehow manage to do what she had never manage to do with all the time
Ranma had lived with her.
Ranma skipped another stone into the water.
"I dunno, I just feel that somthin's missing." Ranma said.
(me! ME!) Akane thought.
"It's like I've got....aw this'll sound stupid." He threw another rock.
"We're your friends Ranam. Go ahead."
*PLUNK*
"It's stupid."
"Please Ranma.." Akane said.
"Naw, nevermind."
*Plink* a pebble bounced off Ranma's head.
"Ow!" Ranma turned rubbing his head.
Akane was standing.
"Baka. I know you turn into a girl...what could be more of a secret than
that?"
Ranma frowned. (I wish she didn't treat me like that)
Beldandy felt a shiver of electricity down hr spine.
"I wish..." He said and broke off.
His feelings were enough.
"Granted." Beldandy whispered and was gone....she never had been there.
Akane smiled and took Ranma's hand.
The sunset was perfect.

[Enter Akane, Ukyou, Shampoo, and Kodachi]
Ukyou: Ranchan, I've decided to give up on you. You don't love me, and you
never will. Bye. [walks off]
Ranma: [blinks] Huh?
Shampoo: Shampoo go home to China. Stupid boy no worth it any more. Bie
liao. [leaves]
Ranma: [tips over] Wha...?
Kodachi: The veil has been taken from my eyes. How could someone as noble as
I fall for an uncouth ruffian such as you? Goodbye forever, you freakish
parody of a man. [disappears in a flutter of black rose petals]
Ranma: [twitches, pulling a Kenshin] Ororo...?
Akane: [quiet for a moment] We're through, Ranma.
Ranma: [falls over] Hanh?
Akane: We're no longer engaged. Now get out of our house and take your "new"
fiancee with you. [taps a toe impatiently]
Ranma: [whips around to Belldandy] Y-y-you're for real!!
Belldandy: Yes, I am.
Ranma: Take it back! Take back the wish!
Belldandy: I'm sorry, but I can't. Once a wish has been approved, it cannot
be changed. Now, I am your fiancee.
Ranma: [bangs his head on the table repeatedly] This isn't happening. This
isn't happening! I just blew my chance at getting a cure for my curse!!
ARGH!!!
A better version of this kind of spamfic would be _Oh my...Ranma?_ on
<http://fanfic.tass-anime.com>. A full-fledged story, it is indeed and is
somewhat complete (for now at least).
