My head softly exploded with a wet *thump* after reading this.
Of course when I FINALY saw the Utena movie I was chanting "Onion Onion"
when it seemed to indicate that Wakaba might break free as well.
(they were talking about liberation at the end of the film and how people
had to live for themselves (or something) Wakaba was walking...with a boy!

I don't think I've ever seen any fanfic writers do anything
with that line before. This story makes me wonder why.

Side note: It's especially embarassing to suddenly think of
something like this at work. Difficult to explain to everyone why
you're suddenly snickering ... :)
