As Ash, Misty, and Brock were getting ready to leave to see Professor
Elm from the Ketchum residence, the phone rang. Mrs. Ketchum picked it
up and answered.
Ash's mom said, "Brock? It's your father. He wants you to take care
of something. I think he means something of your grandfather's."
Ash and Misty heard Brock mumble, "My grandfather doesn't have
anything. No, it can't be that."
Ash looked at his friend and said, "It shouldn't takes us too much time
to swing up to Pewter City. Let's go get what your dad wants you to
take care of."
The three friends made their way to Brock's hometown with no
incidents. Although, Misty stopped Ash from catching another Caterpie.
As soon as they made it to the Peweter Gym, Brock's father came out and
handed his son a bundled package.
"Here you go, son. Take care. I need to spend time with my family and
well, you need help on your journey."
Curious, Misty asked, "What is that?"
"Never mind," Brock said, while stashing it in his pack.
"Off to see Professor Elm,' Ash called
As the trio left, they were followed by Team Rocket.
"As soon as they are far enough away, we use the giant, robotic,
Machoke to capture them and grab Pikachu," Meowth said.
The villians waited until the gang were deep within the wilderness and
activated their machine.
After doing their speech, Jesse said, "The robot is protected against
anything your Pokemon can come up with. So, just hand over your
Pikachu."
Ash was about to say something, when Brock pushed him aside and stated,
"Let me handle this, Ash."
He pulled out the package that his father had handed him and unwrapped
it. It turned out to be an axe with a stone head and a metal shaft. On
the shaft were two buttons. Misty and Ash backed up in alarm when the
weapon opened two eyes.
"Hiya, Brock. I see you have your own trouble. Let's get to it," the
weapon said. "HAMMERHEAD ROCK!!!"
Team Rocket was taken aback by the talking weapon that they didn't
doddge the blow that Brock dealt with the strange object.
After Team Rocket flew off into the distance, Brock turned to his
friends and said, "Ash. Misty. I would like for you to meet my
grandfather, Rocky Hammerhead."
