A mob of characters looked at the author with a single mind, and a
single motive. Amongst themselves, they debated the realities they had
come from, and more which they had only heard of. The merits of
banishing the author from that mundane reality which allowed control of
all others were discussed back and forth. Each possible fate was
examined, but each one was found to be more interesting, more possibly
rewarding than the author's current life.
Thus, in the end, they turned to their viewing portal, through which
they saw the author but which they knew the author could not perceive.
They intoned one word, infusing it with all their cruelty, all their
hatred, all their anger, all their perversity, and all their passion,
and they did it with a smile on their lips.
