This idea popped into my head as I was walking to the doctor's office. I've
only been knocking this around for an hour so things are still a bit
sketchy.
Here's the basic idea: In the year 2000 the 2nd Impact destroyed Antartica a
turned the earth on its ear. The UN formed the organization GHERN to deal
with the chaos and rebuild civilization. GHERN's answear to this was a
cyberoid, AKA a boomer, created by Katsushiro Stingray and Kozo Fuyutski.
Flash forward to 2015. The place is the fortress city of MegaTokyo. GHERN
has been renamed GENOM. GENOM's Asian branch is now lead by Commander Gendo
Ikari and Sub-Commander Kate Madigan. The Instamentality Commite is lead by
Chairman Quincy. Soon MegaTokyo will face a threat far worse than the
boomers that routinely rampage though its streets. After 15 years, the
Angels are returning.
Now a quick rundown on the main players.
GENOM: The Agency appointed by the UN the rebuild the world and to fight the
Angels.

Knight Sabers: High-tech mercinaries who take down rouge boomer for fun and
profit. But they also tend to poke their noses into GENOM's business.
Sylia Stingray: Leader of the Knight Sabers. Determined to stop all rouge
boomers and find out what part GENOM and Gendo Ikari had in her father's
death.
Misato Katsuragi: Former GHERN memeber. She wants to know what role GENOM
played in the 2nd Impact since it was responsible for the death of her
father.
Linna Yamazaki: Aerobics instructor by day, vigilante by night. Her parents
were scientests killed in a accident during the early days of Project E.
Linna wants to know just what her parents died for.
Maya Ibuki: Former Project E memember dismissed under mysterious
circumstances. She reason's for joining the Knight Sabers are unknown.
AD Police: The cops who earn their $ dealing with boomer crime.
Ryoji Kaji: Chief Inspector of the ADP. He wants to know just what GENOM and
the Knight Sabers are up to.
Daley Wong: Kaji's partner on the ADP a best friend.
Well, there you have it. I'm still working a number of things out but I'm
really excited by this idea. Thoughts anyone?
