About 5 minutes after Bloutite let out her youma 101 class a lone youma
shifted his way through the underground. Looking like an oversized
brown hedgehog, he was visibly irritated - despite no one being able to
follow him through the dirt.
'I'll show Bloutite that I can cut it in her class. Tell me I'm on the
verge of failing out, well I get her more energy then the last 3 put
together!'
All he needed was a plan, and some way to stop that "Tux-Boy".

Mamoru was at the coffee shop after a long day of classes. After the
first 2 weeks he quickly adopted a habit of reading his love letters
from Usagi there, since Ryan kept asking who they were from after the
third one in two days.
'Hi, Mamoru!' Kelly yelled across the room as she entered. She went to
the counter and ordered a latte and a kiss from Keith, who was only too
happy to oblige. Mamoru was glad to have met them, since they were so
helpful in getting him adjusted to American College life.
'Another letter from rabbit-girl?' She teased.
'Her name's Usagi and yes, she's kept her promise to write every day,
and she loves the fact that I write her back... long story, don't ask.'
Kelly was still unsure as to why he had a thing for this girl with an
outrageous hair style when the entire coffeehouse started rumbling.
'An earthquake?' Kelly exclaimed when what looked like a giant badger
burst through the parking lot and grabbed a would-be patron. Dark
ribbons of energy were surrounding both the mole and the patron.
Almost on instinct, Mamoru sprinted out the back and transformed into
Tuxedo Mask.
'Hodge...Podge...Hodge...PODGE!!!' the youma bellowed as he grabbed a
second person.
'Stop right there, you attacker of caffeine junkies!' Tuxedo Mask
yelled as he threw his rose at the youma. It bounced of his hide
without sticking, but it did turn around and face the newest bane of
youma.
'YOU! HODGE-PODGE JUMP AND GRAB!' the youma roared as it tackled Tuxedo
Mask and started draining his energy. Mamoru was not expecting a head
on rush & was taken by surprise.
'SOLAR FLARE!' The orange flames blasted the vole in the back and the
Tuxedo Mask slipped out of the bear hug. He was weakened, but not out
by any sense of the word.
The two mysterious helpers were standing on top of light poles. 'The
anger of the sun has given me the strength to punish evil, I am
Solaris!' the woman said.
'And I am the guardian of the evening sky that will mean lights out for
you, I am Nightshadow!' the man in the gi said but with a little less
enthusiasm.
'NIGHT DARKNESS RAY!' he said a bolt of black energy shot out and
engulfed the youma. It reacted and tried to pull of the blackness as if
it was slime sticking to him.
'When were you able to do that?' the woman asked.
'I'm diversifying.' he replied. 'Tuxedo Mask, now!'
'Charging... cane... ATTACK!' He dashed forward toward the youma, his
cane charged with the power of the Earth. In the classic style, Hodge-
Podge did not dodge and was summarily blasted to tiny bits.
'ok, you two time to talk...' Tuxedo Mask said to the air that now
occupied where the two assistants were standing. "Great" he thought
"They're worse than Uranus and Neptune!"
---------------------------------------------------------------
Tuxedo Mask left the scene, but a girl and her dog had watched the whole
thing. The dog was now realizing what was going on first hand.
'Well Lassie, looks like the outcasts are waking up!' The Spaniel said
to Sally.
'Really, Apollo? Why are those 3 outcasts?' she asked quizzically.
'Not all 3, the one in the tux is real. Tis' a long time ago, and I
don't know the details. But when the Moon Princess and the Prince of
the Earth were assigning seishi...'
'Senshi? You mean like the Celestial Warriors from the Mysterious
Play?'
'Not quite, lassie, more like sailor scouts for lack of a better term.
But Anywho. They only had 8 star seeds to give to the prospective
scouts, so not every scout or fighter in the Moon Kingdom were able to
be senshi. Then to add insult to injury, each one was given sole
patronage of a planet, so there were a lot of bruised egos.'
'So there were more than 8 jockeying for the part?'
'Aye, about 12, but when all 8 chosen were lasses, the lads who rejected
by the Moon Princess turned away from the Moon Kingdom and settled on
earth to try to get the attention of the Prince. They failed there to
and sailed across the sea from the Earth Prince's castle. Without the
planets, they turned to other minor phenomena to be patrons of. Solar
Flares, the Northern Lights, Eclipses, Meteor Showers, Night and Morning
Skies...'
'So what?'
'So, they aren't as powerful as the original 8, and they have odd
attacks they were forced to develop. But now with this new plan of the
negaverse to train here, they might actually get some recognition from
their former Prince.'
'And just how do you know all this, Apollo?'
'Animal advisors were also chosen. Athena and I lost out to a pair of
cats.'
'How odd. So, am I or am I not one of them?'
'I dunno, lassie. You were able to awaken me somehow, but the other
outcast scouts might not have survived the long years and rebirths to
live to this age. You may be one, but we've no sure way to be sure.
And I don't recommend you try to find out! I now have a mission and I
need you to help me, we need to get all the scouts that have survived to
the present together.'
'Ok, but only if you can help me find out who that Masked man really
is!' Sally waiied. 'But can we not call them outcast, maybe just call
them American Sailor Scouts?'
Apollo gave a decent grin for a spaniel. 'That works for me, Lassie.'
Authors Notes: Ok, one LoCS part does not a newbie erase. [I'm still
working on the make-up omake from when I bowed out]
I hope you enjoyed this all the same. Please forgive the spelling
errors since it was typed in from notebook paper.
I'd like to thank my little brother Brian for getting me hooked on Anime
and finding sites like these.
Thank You, Good Morning, and God Bless.
