What can i say - it just came to me....
Battlestar Nerima
(Ranma 1/2 - Battlestar Galactica)
Ranma = starbuck
"Fleeing the cylon tyrany, a ragtag fleet of ships searches for the
promised land... a shining world named Jusenkyo...."
Several battlestars meet for a peace conference with the cylons...
it's a trap. Ranma and the blue squadron (ukyo, shampoo, Akane
fight long nough for the Nerima to get clear. The Battlestar Hibiki
gets lost. The Battlestars joketsuzoku, Musk, Byankala and
Juuban all are destroyed by a trap which Shampoo's mom
sacrifices herself to warn the fleet about. (CF appolo's lil bro)
The 12 planets are destroyed...
Survivors include the tendo's, (Nabiki (athena) , souun,
kasumi(cassiopia)) Cologne is rescued, as is mousse, mikado,
tofu etc. sadly they have to take Happosai to prevent the cylons
capturing him. Lets face it, with that ole perv it's bad enough when
he's on THEIR side...
Kuno (the human traitor) and his sister Kodachi are given
command of a baseship and begin their trek to capture the
pigtailed girl and ranma sama (they're nuts - it's a reason to sell out
their species?!)
flet command settles down to the last survivng battlestar Nerima
undercommand of genma and soun(of the military) and Cologne as
the civilian advisor. OF course, she does most of the scutwork..
Still have the fiance mess (image of attempted spacings to get
Ranma alone), Cologne is less willing to force ranma due to her
position of power (she may be a pain in the bum... but an
honourable one)
the Battlestar Hibiki shows up from time to time until its
destruction. Of course Akane's pet p-chan wasn't o it at the time...
They're searching for a safe planet to settle... but genma sets
course for the mythical planet of Jusenkyo to reverse curses for
those affected... and because it'll make a good staging point (plus
deadly weapon - he's a coward a theif and has no honour... but
when he has to he can plan a fight as long as somebody else
executes it) against the cylons (who now have to wear katana's,
formal samurai garb, and even they think Kuno's a nut.)
Kodachi is second to Kuno, but has own basestar thingy.
for Chi users upgrade to the vipers - they can focus chi to make
their ships faster, bigger guns, and use special attacks. <image:
Ukyo using a Bakers peel of pure energy to smash several cylon
vessles with> they also have heir usual fighting skills when on
away missions.
note - eventually the cylons change the light fox-look of thei fighters
to a cat look when it becomes clear it scares the enemy ace who
saved humanity (ranma's ego expanding? WHOOMPH! you
betcha!)... until he accesses nekoken in a fighter... results must be
seen to be believed.
oh. yeah. people like mikado, kumon, the djo destroyer are in this.
they show up from the survivors or from outlying colonies that are
dying without the home system.
anyone else wanna write this? I'm busy with other things, but I
