Saw some things here that I couldn't help but comment on:

A building crew can't have velocity. Unless, that is, you fire them out of a
cannon. Velocity, you see, isn't speed. They're closely related, but
velocity is actually the derivative of speed. Velocity is a measurement of
how quickly a thing's speed is increasing.
Long story short, change that word. Maybe just have Ranma marvel at the
efficiency of the crews. "Speed" is a tricky word too, mathmatically
speaking.
More like time for physics....
Speed and velocity are almost the same thing, except that velocity has a
direction(So and so is moving thataway at that speed) while speed
doesn't (so and so is moving at that speed). Acceleration is the
measurement of how quickly a thing's speed is increasing.
Other than that, I agree with you that effifiency is more appropriate.

-On Rick Hunter and Ranma:
Um... Latin D? I'll have to agree with Mr. Hudson here... Would be nice
to see one rule the sky while the other bashes in the Zentraedies heads
in in hand to hand fighting (The scene in the Zentraedi Mothership comes
to mind). Just don't replace Max Sterling too!
