This is the first of what I hope will be many challenges which I offer to
the list once a season. Your response to these challenges will determine
whether or not there will be more of them.

Challenge 1: (For Ranma Authors)
Ranma is always commenting on how women are "weak and stupid". Cologne
(or any other character of your choosing) locks Ranma in his curse
(temporarily - the spell fades after one year, but you should make the story
span no less than 3 months or longer) and orders Ranma to accomplish ten
tasks disproving his sexist mantra. At least five of those tasks should
involve something difficult that a man normally couldn't do. If he fails to
complete the ten tasks, he has to put up with being a woman for an entire
year until the spell wears off. If he succeeds, Cologne removes the spell
immidiately, plus a -bonus- (a Jusenkyo cure, Shampoo goes back to China,
Waterproof soap, a tin award statuette, whatever you decide).
Challenge 2: (For those who are sick of Ranma)
The CROSSOVERS from HELL! One way or another, write a coherent crossover
using one of these impossible combinations:
Lain + Nuku Nuku
Super Atragon + Evangelion
Key The Metal Idol + Akira
Slayers + Card Captor Sakura
Trigun + Ruroni Kenshin
Tenchi Muyo + Little House on the Prairie
BTW, these weren't just random combinations. Each of these crossovers
has -something- in common with the other, and can make a good story... if
you tell it right.
Challenge 3: (For those who are STILL sick of Ranma, and know better than
to mix acids)
This is a wildcard challenge. Let's bring interest to all those series
that are currently limited to fansubs. Create a fanfic using any of (or a
combination of) the largely unknown series listed below:
Kodoma no Omocha (Child's Toy)
Eden's Bowy
Dual!
Photon
