transported by ship, and I don't see any reason why you'd transport labors
any differently than you would cars. At least it shouldn't be THAT
surprising to April...
Gotoh is WAY more talkative than he usually is with reporters... (and
are
you sure he knows English well enough to give an interview? Wouldn't
he
need a translator?)
My original thought was to have Clancy translate and then the more I
thought
about it, the more I thought that Goto wouldn't want that. He's not the
sort
to rely on other people, not even a translator. As for talkitive, well,
you
play to your audience.
He still shouldn't be able to speak English nearly that well... and he
should be even LESS talkative because of it.
Type Zero's aren't exactly more agile. They use the same drive and
architecture as Ingrams, with only minor modifications, but it's mostly
a better computer system- a 'Nueral Network' as opposed to a typical
computer
system. As Asuma pointed out in the New Files Griffin Arc, it's a case
of Automatic vs. Manual- it's easier to use an Automatic transmission
well,
but if you're REALLY good with a manual transmission, you can use it
better
than you can an Automatic. However, you can replace parts in an Ingram
with parts from a Zero- and visa versa.
In the movie, I got the impression that the Zero was more agile.
Hmm... it's not agility, exactly... it's response time, precision, and
ease
of control. The 'Nueral Network' and 'Hyper Operating System' basically,
as I understand it, make the labor respond to commands faster, and with
more accuracy. As I said, you can replace parts of a Zero with parts of
an
Ingram (provided it's not the command and control system) or visa versa
and
it'll work just as well. In the Griffin arc of New Files, in fact, the
third Ingram of Unit 2 was practically rebuilt from the parts of the 3rd
Zero of Unit 1.
Gotoh never explains himself to Asuma, even to point out that someone's
hiding something. He thinks Asuma works better when he thinks it's
his
own idea.
It was more like he was thinking out loud. Even if he speaks English,

doubt
Goto's ever really dealt with American politicans or operated in their
territory.
Hmm... but if he were to say something like that, he'd most likely be
saying it to Kanuka instead. MAYBE in Asuma's hearing, though he'd act
like he was trying to hide it from him, but I don't see him saying that
to
Asuma.
If Takeo Kumagami is with Unit 2, she should be freaking out when
they're
down below and discover the skeleton. Kanuka's story would make her
even
more uncomfortable.
Kanuka REALLY shouldn't gasp and act surprised when Asuma says to move
in. Shinshi might, Noa's more likely to (though she'll do it if Asuma
insists),
but Kanuka's fearless in the series, and would NOT be concerned.
It was more like shock. Fearless or no, I think anyone would be a bit
hesitant to move in on something holding a giant pink something or
another.
Still, it's the wrong person for that sort of reaction. Kanuka's faced
ancient Japanese dragons and mutant Alligators with less reaction than
that. ANYONE else, I can see saying something like that. But not
Kanuka...
