Interesting....I'm not sure how I missed this the first time...
The Guyver is one of those love/hate series for me...and one which uses
the "monster of the week" gimmic to the limit....
(like the "ro-beasts" in the old Voltron)
Yup. That was fairly standard for the 80's stuff. It's also fairly standard
plot and one of the things that irritates me about most animated series.
Every week, it's a battle to stop the Villan of the week (and usually the
same guy or one of his henchmen) from carrying out some nefarious plot. Don't
get me wrong, this formula can be done, and it can be done well. Pokemon,
Sailor Moon, the New Adventures of He-Man, are a few series that have managed
to make the formula fairly interesting. But I'm rambling. Still when you
mentioned Voltron, it reminded me of the Voltron fic I haven't touched in a
while. Maybe I should repost it and get some fresh feedback. . .
And oddly enough reminds me of the "dark-tainted" (Shard of Neffy's
crystal) in my "Osaka Naru:Freelance" which has been back-burnering since
it's fruitless teaser about 2 years ago.
I have not read this, but I would like to. Where can I find it?

Agreeable Komodo
He who bought it, supplied it.
Just say yes to prophylactics.
