Okay. I won't go through a grammar and style scrub (others will do
that), but I will say that this idea is gonna be tough to pull off. You're
setting an alternate universe, and as such need to be prepared to explain
nearly every detail of the new setting.
The characters are going to be different, natch, but how and why?
What have they been through? Also, you must take into account just how much
of their original characters to maintain. After all, without something that
harkens back to the people we know and love from the series, these will just
be people who look like Ranma characters.
I'm not saying drop the idea ( I RARELY say that), but you need to
be careful with it. Think this through, fire a few ideas off willing people,
and see what develops. Perhaps the result will be COMPLETELY different from
this prologue, who knows?
