This isn't what I wanted to post today. Oh well, haven't seen this idea
done yet, but it was just a matter of time...
"Card Captor Ranma!"

Ranma was bored.
Somehow, some way, Akane had talked him into coming to the library
with her.
Now, he was bored. Beyond bored. There was absolutely nothing for
him to do here.
As Ranma idly wandered the aisles, a certain book caught his
attention.
Ranma lifted the book from the shelf and opened the cover. Inside
was a stack of cards. Ranma lifted the top card to look at it. The
cards began glowing and suddenly shot out of the book as streams of
light.
Ranma put the card he was still holding back in the book, closed the
cover, and placed the book back on the shelf. He walked away, whistling
quietly.
Ranma v. Kero!
"Man, you're stupid looking, ya know?"
"I am Cerberus! The Guardian Beast of the Seal!"
"You're still stupid lookin'," Ranma commented, poking the stuffed
toy in the head.
"Aren't you supposed to be a girl?" Kero shot back.
"I'm a guy!"
Ranma v. Lightning!
"Hey, Kunou!"
"What do you want, Saotome?"
"I need ya ta do one of your speeches."
"Excuse me?"
"You know. Vengeance of heaven and all that stuff."
"Why?" Kunou asked, completely baffled by Ranma's behavior.
"Let's just say I need some bait."
Ranma v. Sword!
"Feh. Weapon."
"The Sword Card is very dangerous!"
Ranma snickered.
"This is serious, Ranma! The Sword Card can turn anyone into a
skilled swordsman."
Ranma fell out of his seat, laughing.
Ranma v. Fight!
"Fight Card?"
"That's right. That girl is a Clow Card."
"So how am I supposed ta catch it? I don't wanna fight a girl."
"It's not a girl, it's a Clow Card!"
"Looks like a girl ta me."
"Arg!"
"Maybe we should let somebody else catch it. There's that weird kid
who keeps followin' me around, saying it's his destiny 'cause he's
descended from this Clow guy. Let him catch it."
"But _you're_ the Card Captor. You let the cards out, so you have
to bring them back."
"Uh huh. You just don't wanna take the blame for bein' asleep."
Kero sighed.
