(Information Center)
"So, what does this button do ?" Marle said as she pushed a random button on the large computer.
"1999 - Visual record of the second impact." Lucca answered as the screen came to life.
It was a short screening, a minute or so, but it deeply the ones that view it.
"That's..." Marle whispered.
"That's our future" Lucca said, visibly disappointed.
"No way ! I refuse to believe it !" Marle argued.
"But it is..."
"Then will change it. Just like Crono did when he saved me." Marle said. "Alright Crono, Lucca ?"
"Yeah that could work. Crono ?" Lucca asked.
Crono simply nodded.
"Then next stop : Proto Dome" Marle beamed.

(Proto Dome, later)
"No good, the door won't budge" Crono said.
"Normal. There's no power." replied Lucca, looking at the computer.
"So what do we do ? The gate is on the other side of that door." Marle asked.
"The factory before..." Lucca realised. "If we go there, we can surely redirect some power to the dome."
"A factory, eh ..." Crono whispered.

(Proto Dome, later again)
Luckily, hacking and fighting through the Factory was not that difficult. Except for the R-series, that is. But by chance, the trio came out of that fight without any large damage.
"So where does this one lead ?" Marle asked Lucca.
"Couldn't find that. So we still don't know when we'll end up... Still want to go ?" She replied, opening the gate.
As an answer, Crono stepped in the gate, and was quickly followed by Marle and Lucca

(Nerv headquarters)
Gendo sighed. The Marduk institute had failed to find a new pilot in time. He continued to watch the useless effort of the UN against the angel, which can be resumed as a massive lost for the army. But who cares they deserve it. As a last resort they launched an N-2 mine to hopefully destroy their target. The bomb exploded in a big pillar of flame and dug a deep crater where now stood a lightly damaged but still walking angel.
The UN commanders swore like hell and then received a phone call from the government, which gave them the immediate order to leave the situation to NERV. A very worried Gendo received command of the first anti-angel operation a few seconds later. He wasn't even sure that Rei could possibly be able to pilot the EVA. The possibilities that Rei could synchronise with the EVA were next to none. So all they needed was some more problems to make them regret the fact that they hadn't listened to their mothers and became dentists.
"Intruder alert"
Gendo was shaken out of his thoughts by the siren. He turned toward Fuyutsuki and asked "What is it ?"
"Three unidentified persons in sector D. Proceeding in direction of the Eva cages. Security are currently hunting them down."
"Take care of things here Fuyutsuki, I'm going to the Eva cages..."
"Wait Gendo..."
Too late, Gendo was running towards the cages, a sudden inexplicable hope in him.

(Eva cages, a few seconds before)
The other side of the gate opened in an empty room in the geofront. The trio wandered outside, looking for people. Three guards saw them and, not recognising them as NERV personnel, activated the alarm. Seven security guards soon joined those who sounded the alarm in pursuit of the teenage group. Each group pulled their weapons out and prepared to fight. Marle and Lucca noticed them coming and pulled for a retreat, blowing open a locked door.
All pretences for silence died as the door exploded off the hinges. Crono, Marle and Lucca dashed in, quickly followed by NERV's security. More men came from the opposite direction, surrounding the time-travelling group.
"Stop !" Gendo yelled at the security guards.
The guards backed up, but kept their weapons in hand. Gendo, on the other hand, took this time to analyse the young newcomers. The first one was a blond-haired girl wearing a somewhat loose robe and pointing a crossbow towards the guards. Behind her was a boy with spiky red hair who was currently glaring at him and holding a strange blue sword. The last one was wearing a weird helmet and scanning the area through her large glasses and having her gun ready at her side.
"I need one of you to pilot the Eva" Gendo said.
"WHAT ?" yelled Ritsuko Akagi, which had just entered the cages with Rei's stretcher. "But we don't ever know who they are !"
"What's an Eva ?" Lucca asked. As an answer, Gendo pointed down to the head of Unit 1, which the trio hadn't noticed yet.
"Why would we want to pilot something like that ?" Marle shouted.
As if on cue, the geofront was shook by a tremor, due to an attack by Sachiel.
"If you don't it will be the end of the world !" Gendo yelled.
The three all suddenly had a flashback of what they saw in the information center. They could now stop that armageddon.
"I'll do it." Crono said.
"But..." Marle started.
"Someone has to do it, right. We can't let the world end today..." he countered.
"Prepare Unit 1 for activation."

Crono embarked inside the plug and was drawn into the EVA with a weird kind of sound. Then all restraining gears were detached and Eva became free.
(In the command center)
"Synchronisation is at 36%"
"My god it is as if he was born to pilot it!"
"Alright Crono! The EVA is easy to use just think and the EVA will move. Ok?"
"And I am supposed to fight in that thing"
"Yes."
"I need a sword...."
"Stop complaining ! This is all we have for now...but it is kind of a good idea"
The Unit 1 was then moved to a nearby wall, opening a tunnel above the Eva. The elevator then shot the humanoid robot into the city. As it stopped Crono realised that the angel was standing right in front of him only a block away.
"Remember Crono think and it will move."
"Well here goes."
He took his first step and every one the command center was rejoicing to see make a move. Then another, then another, then tripped over his other foot and fell on his face. The angel walked towards his foe now face on the ground. Feeling himself falling, instinct then took control and the Eva pushed itself up with its arms, evaded a lunge aimed at his head and jumped over the angel and landed behind it. A hard kick in the back later, the angel was now face first on the street.
The Eva then met the angel's AT field a second later as while Sachiel rose back up, as Unit 1 had made a dash for his enemy. Everyone was dumbstruck on how easily Crono got familiar with this new type of equipment, but was still held back by the angel's field. All except for Ritsuko were too slow too recover, while she took the time to take notes on this situation..
"Crono you need to raise your AT field to counter his."
"Great ! how am I suppose to do that ?"
Instead of listening to Ritsuko's following explanation, he just started to hit the damn field until one punch got through. He then trusted his other hand at the same place and forced it apart. The AT field was shredded like paper and he used this advantage to slam the angel hard again on the chest. He quickly jumped on it and continued to pound it, then ripped it ribcage apart and used one of the bones to pierce the red core. With its last strength the angel wrapped itself around Unit-01's head and the angel then self-destructed.
A huge pillar of flame went through the sky then went horizontal and continued vertically, making a cross.
Everyone in the command center went silent hoping that Unit-01 was still alive.
"Oh no...Crono please be ok!"
"We shouldn't have made him pilot it"
"I hope the Eva survived."
A loud banging sound went on after the flame pillar grew smaller by the minute and EVA Unit-01 walked out of the blast still in one piece. As the Eva stopped next to a commercial building, the head armor fell on the road. Crono took a look and saw the true face of Evangelion Unit-01.
"What th..."
"Crono are you alright?" Misato screamed from the speaker.
"Eject the entry plug and send a recovery unit."

Shift the image to a hospital room where a figure lies on a bed. The door open and a worried Marle enters followed by a cheerful Lucca.
"Crono are you ok?"
"Way to go Crono, you saved the future of mankind"
"I'm ok, but I must say that the feeling inside of that thing is really weird. That liquid also smells like... blood."
"Well now you killed it and it won't come back so we are saved."
Just then the door open and Misato stepped inside near the trio.
"Great job Crono! You save us all back there Thanks. Um...you are all three requested to headquarters."
"Why?"
"Commander Ikari has some questions for you and some tests."
"Well we should get going you know... but I don't think the questions would be any problem."
"Ok then well follow me."
Now was the time to get lost.
"Hey didn't past at this place already?"
"By my calculation I believe that this is the fourth time that we are here."
"Ah shut up!"
Cut to a swimming pool that a certain Ritsuko was currently leaving, a voice calling out to her.
"Ritsuko Akagi is asked to reach Misato and lead her to headquarters."
"Again and again..." She said with a frown, thinking at how many time she had to help her out.
The foursome were now in an elevator and it made its stop, opening the doors in front of Ritsuko.
"Uuh...um...Ritsuko how nice to see you...here..."
"You now owe me one more for helping you out."
"Finally we're going somewhere!"
"Shut up"
Five minutes later they were now in HQ.
"So what did you want from us" Lucca said.
"We currently don't have any pilots for the EVAs so you are ordered from now on to pilot them. Of course we will first test to see if you two..." Gendo pointed to Lucca and Marle and continued. "Have the abilities to be pilots."
"But Crono already killed it." Marle said.
"That wasn't the end for the Angels. They will be back." Ritsuko continued her lecture. "It took fifteen years for them to come back and we suspect that the next one will be much sooner then that."
"Damn" Crono swore silently then said. "So I'm gonna have fight those thing a lot more often!"
"Well I guess that we should be helping." Marle said then thought to herself. "Dad isn't gonna like this.....then again I don't care"
Lucca just stood there drooling over the fact that she will be INSIDE of one of those and will probably learn a lot on HOW they are made. Then just said. "OK!" with a happy voice.
Gendo decided to ignore the awkwardness of Lucca's reaction and said : "You will all be staying at Ms. Katsuragi's apartment. You may leave now." He waited for them to get out and then called: "Fuyutsuki bring me Ms. Katsuragi immediately." No more then five minutes later Misato was in Gendo's office. "The three of them will be staying at your apartment for constant surveillance. We need you to gather as much information out of them. They mustn't suspect a thing. They shall also be enrolled into school. Any questions?"
"May I ask, since that they will be with under my charge, that I have financial aid ?"
"You will be given a raise but only for the time being. Understood?"
"Hai"

"So we're gonna live at your place right ?" Marle said.
"I hope that it's a big enough place or we'll probably be lacking some space."
"Of course it is! Don't worry we're all gonna be just fine! OK?" Misato said with a very unrealistically cheery and happy voice, which would make any pessimist run and hide.
"So when are we going?"
"We'll be going now and we'll stop by at the grocery shop to grab some food. I'm making a welcoming party for all of my new room mates." Misato said as they entered her car, or what WE (and by We I mean Krain and Snapdragon): The Rapid Christine On Rampage Fuelled By Nitro With All The Fire From The Nine Circles Of Hell On Wheels (Caught on tape 666)
As they embarked inside Misato's sport car little did they know that every rule there is for driving doesn't apply to Misato.
"AAAAAAhhh!!!! watch for that car"
"EEeeeeeehh turn left!!!! NOOOO the other left!!!!!!"
"Careful for the pedestrian."
"Drive on the road."
"IT'S RED"
"The other side of the road!!"
"Watch out for that tree." The audience screamed.
"These are railroad tracks!!"
"Watch for the little squirrel."
"I know what I'm doing!"
"What the hell is doing a cow here?"
"I maybe under age but I think I should drive" Crono thought to himself.
"..."
After it goes on and on of screaming like hell at Misato's driving techniques. They finally arrived at the grocery store, then after that they resumed screaming for their lives because their lives WERE at stake.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...."
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...."
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...." They all screamed in chorus as they were about to hit a tree.
"Well we're here" The car stopped NEXT to the aforementioned tree in the parking lot. They all jumped outside of the car. And Lucca muttered something like: "Terra firma".

Misato opened the door to her apartment and stepped in, then stopped to look behind her to see if they were going to enter or just stay in the doorway. "Well?"
"Well it's kinda small."
"Oh be quiet and get in! This is the only place you have so be happy about it."
"Huuh where should we put the food?"
"Just put in the fridge and the rest in the larder" She said while she was putting on a change of close. Then got out of her room with a little pair of blue short and a small T-shirt.
Crono took the eggs and milk, went to the fridge open it and found bear, bear, bear and more bear. He absently grabbed a can, opened it, took a swing and noticed that nothing came down. That might have been because a certain arrow smashed the bottom of the can off and all of its contents went to the ground. He carefully wiped the mess and threw away the can in the trash.

Few minutes later Misato had prepared super which was only instant food.
"Ta Daa!" Misato said just before she emptied a full can down her throat. "HUU Yeah now that's the way of living." Then grabbed another can and went to process it the same way. But this time a little bit slower.
"This is supposed to be food?" Crono asked, then he swung his head backwards to avoid a incoming "Piss off" from Misato Head co.
"Are you saying that it's not good enough for you?"
"No no it's alright I'll eat it." Crono now decided not to ever make a comment towards Misato.
"Hey? What kind of clothing is that anyway?" Misato said while drinking another beer. (I know this doesn't seem possible but watch the anime and you will see her talking while drinking a beer. Honest.)
"Well I'll have you know that it's very a good style back in...." Marle was quickly interrupted by Lucca.
"It's just that we like this kind of medieval style."
"Well you will have to wear the uniforms at school."
Crono coughed for a second on his food...whatever it was.
"School?" A worried look appear on Marle's face.
"Great we will be able to learn more on this era." Lucca thought to herself and then recalled what Misato said. "Uniforms."
"Yeah it's not because that you are now gonna be Eva pilots that you don't have to live a normal life. And beside you'll make plenty of friends."
"So when are we starting school then?"
"Tomorrow morning"
"Great!" Said Lucca.
"Uh since that you'll be starting school you should all take bath cause you all smell like hell."
"Well it has been a while since I haven't taken one, so I'll go first...where is the bathroom anyway?" Marle said.
"First door on your left."
"Thanks"
Marle stripped, got herself a towel and entered the bathroom but the found the passage blocked by a black and white bird. Her first reaction was scream and run like hell (they are usually monsters).
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!" She screamed and dashed out of the bathroom.
Meanwhile Lucca and Misato were discussing stuff about NERV and Crono was just standing in the hallway waiting for his turn to take his bath. Suddenly they heard Marle scream and saw her running out of the bathroom. She was a bit scared and she tried to find refuge while running away. Unfortunately her only refuge was Crono's chest. So She jumped in his arms.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!! Crono there's a monster in the bathroom!!" She screamed to a dumbstruck Crono. Then added an another as the 'monster' came out of the bathroom. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!! Kill it!!"
"Calm down Marle its just my pet penguin. And you should let go of Crono he's missing some air."
Misato was partly right, because Crono now had her very naked and exposed breast in his face and was starting to lose consciousness.
Marle finally got off Crono only a fraction of a second before he dropped to the floor.
"Hum Marle I know were good friends but could you cover yourself." Said Lucca pointing out her nakedness.
"I don't mind you wandering around like that but the neighbours are very annoying with those photo equipment and other stuff." Said Misato recalling that time when she was too tired or drunk.....probably too drunk to put on any clothes.
"Hun?... oh. ..um...sorry..." She said while having a full body blush and retreating to the bathroom to relax some.
"So how do we wake him up?"
"Just splash some water on him!" Said Misato not caring much over the condition of Crono.
Lucca got a glass of water and threw it at Crono's face. He woke up with a "Gaah!!".
"Feeling better?"
"Yeah what happened?"
"Marle came running out of the bathroom naked, ran into you, you had her breast in your face and you fainted." Lucca said lecturing him the event.
Crono suddenly recalled what had happened, sensation, picture and everything. Then got a nosebleed and fainted again.
Misato looked over to Lucca while drinking down beer number... 17...maybe 73... no 29... 21... 76486983...well another one and said : "Next time just tell him he bashed his head on the wall."
And they did.
That's the reason why the rest of the evening Marle always looked at Crono awkwardly. He just didn't understand why.
The rest passed by easily except for the end of the evening when they had to make some place for all of them to sleep. Luckily Marle and Lucca shared the spare room and so Crono had to sleep on the sofa.

Unluckily for them, the next day, since they didn't know the way to the school...Misato had to drive them to it. The horror THE HORROR!!
(Insert *typical Misato's driving and three teens screaming as if their were no tomorrow* here)

Cut to school inside a classroom.
"Hey do you know where Suzahara is, he wasn't at school yesterday?" Hikari said.
"I don't know I tried to call him at his house nut he wasn't there." Kensuke said while typing some stuff on his computer.
"Well all I hope is he is....." Hikari was cut of as Touji walked inside the class.
"Hey class rep did I miss anything?" Touji said while dropping his bag on his desk.
"..."
"Hey where have you been?"
"I had to visit my sister at the hospital. She was injured during the attack and since my father and grandfather are working, I had to visit her otherwise she would have been all alone. They say that she will be okay but she needs to stay there for another week. Damn that stupid pilot if only he could have been more careful."
"Humphum....hey did you hear the rumours we're gonna have new students in our class and apparently one of them is the pilot!!"
"Well he is sure gonna be at the end my fist that bastard!"
As if on cue, three teens walked inside the class. They all seemed confused for a second and were greeted by Hikari.
"Hello you must be our new students, welcome to our school. My name is Hikari I am the class representative."
"Hi I'm Crono"
"Hello I'm Marle"
"Please to meet you. I'm Lucca." She said then noticed the equipment on each desk, then asked: "Hum....where are our places?"
Hikari guided them to some empty desks and Lucca wasted no time to observe every tiny little piece of her desk's computer. Before they could continue on a conversation, the teacher got into class and the routine that will soon be very bored started.
"All rise"
"And so the human race was faced by a disaster as second impact happened in 1999 AD in the Antarctica..."
The teacher went on and on but only Crono and Marle were paying attention since that everybody else knew all of that stuff by now and Lucca was too busy with her computer. Marle was shaken out of her concentration on the lecture by a message on her computer screen. It said: "Are you the new pilot Y/N" She wondered for a second of who would want to know then just typed: "No I'm not but Crono is"
Messages started flying (by cable that is).
The class modem blew up.
Then everybody jumped to ask a dozen or so questions to Crono. Except for a very pissed Touji, a drooling Lucca over her computer and Kensuke who cried at the loss of his internet connection. These questions continued until the bell.

Now everybody was outside and the three teens were together to talk about the knowledge they now had on Second Impact. But they didn't notice that two other students were catching up to them.
"Hey New guy" Said Touji just before he launched himself at Crono's face. The punch did connect with it's target but didn't do any damage, instead his head just moved back.
"Hun!" Kensuke couldn't believe what he saw and wouldn't believe what was about to happen.
Touji was to slow to recover from his swing and Crono used that to his advantage by swinging his fist in Touji's stomach, jumping and kicking him in the back, sending him on a collision course with a tree.
"Huuh!" were Touji's last words before he was knocked unconscious.
"What did he do that for?"
"Sorry about my friend but he was mad at you for hurting his sister while you were piloting that big giant robot of yours." Kensuke said bawling in front of Crono's feet and continued "He isn't very dangerous so you could be a little more careful?"
"Hun? Yeah sorry about that. I guess I don't even know my own strength."
"Marle could you help him a little?"
"Sure" She said then walked to Touji and chanted: "Aura" And Touji's bruises disappeared and he regained consciousness.
"You ok? I didn't mean to hit you too hard but next time DON'T hit me or try to!"
"Hun?" Touji said, not understanding what had happened. The gang explained it all to him and formal apologies were made. At the end, some new friends were made (mainly because of Kensuke).

After school, they went to Misato's place (walking) and they were talking about what the story the teacher said about second impact.
"So he said that second impact occurred during the end of the year 1999. And that it was in Antarctica, that it melted the whole icecap and flooded a major part of the planet. Apparently half of the earth population was killed."
"So that would mean that the Second impact wasn't the end of the world!" Lucca continued after Marle finished saying what she heard during class: "But the recording in the computer back in 2300 shows some kind of creature coming out of the blast. So that would mean that something probably caused that."
"But what about the Angels ? what do they have to do with second impact?" Crono paused for a second. "And those machines called the Evas, they must have a connection with all this?"
"So there's got to be a connection but which one? Gendo said that if Crono didn't fight the Angels it will be the end of the world. So he must know something about the connection between the EVAs, the Angels and Second Impact."
"Ok! then tonight we'll have to ask Misato what she knows about the Angels and second impact. Right?"
"Yes cause we all have seen how Gendo is and I don't think that he will be much co-operative with us. Especially after all those promises of silence we had to make about what we know of NERV."
They finally made it to their new home and Crono started to make super. Since that they now lived with each other they all had responsibilities...Well Crono had to do all of them, the rest of the girls giggled for while at how much Crono's gonna have to work while they would just lay back and enjoy the sun.
Misato arrived from NERV and she went to her room to change into her usual wear: a pair of shorts and a tanktop. And grabbed a can of beer from the fridge and drank it in a second.
"Can ask you a question?" Said Marle.
Misato just nodded while having another beer in her hand.
"Can you tell us every thing you know about the Angels and Second Impact?"
Misato spitted out half of her beer because of the awkward question and for the first time in her life she wasted some beer.
"Cough...cough....hum why would you want to know that?"
"Well its very important for us.....because you see we're from the past and by travelling in the future we found out about the Second Impact so we ended up here and we need as much information to know what we're fighting now."
Misato burst out laughing thinking that what Marle just said was a joke. "Geez you didn't have to make up a story. Just say curiosity and I'll talk!"
"ok we're just curious that's all!" Said Marle with a cheery and happy voice that would rival with Misato's.
"Well it's mostly classified stuff but since that you are now active NERV member I can tell everything I know about second impact. Just don't repeat it."
"Ok"
"The Angels well I don't know much about them. Ritsuko is the ono to ask from these questions. All I know is that they could create Third Impact if they did reach the bottom of NERV."
For the rest of the evening the subject returned to how their first day of school was. After they went to bed and Crono to his sofa. He grunted a lot about the sofa being more uncomfortable then a bed of stone but no one paid any attention.

Time passed, mostly in the form of boring days of school made of Second Impact lectures. It was always the same until the return of Rei. Upon her return Crono noticed her, the girl he saw at NERV in bandages, sitting in the end of the class near the window and starring at nothing.
"Hey Marle look it's that girl we saw the first time we arrived at NERV."
"I think her name is Rei or something."
"I wonder how she got all those wounds!"
The class went on and after, during lunch, Crono, Marle and Lucca searched for her.
"I think I know where she is." Said Lucca after overhearing someone talking about her.
They followed Lucca and spotted her on a bench reading some book.
"Hello I'm Marle!" She said in her happy voice. "You're the other pilot. Right?"
"yes"
"Hi I'm Crono. May I ask your name?"
"rei ayanami"
"Hello Rei I'm Lucca! We're glad to meet you."
"..."
"Can I ask you how you got those cuts and bruises? I can help you!"
"it was during a synchronisation test"
"Wow that must have hurt! Marle maybe you should help her!"
"K!" She sat next to Rei and chanted: "Aura". And Rei's cuts and bruises were quickly healed.
"You should be ok!"
Rei was too dumbstruck to say anything, all the pain she used to feel was gone and she didn't feel any when she took off her bandages. She noticed that she was completely healed and said: "...how did you do that?"
"Oh its just..."
"Nothing..." Lucca interrupted.
Rei continued to stay silent until she felt something strange and said: "there will be an emergency we'd better report in." She then got up and started running towards the nearest NERV entry. They kept up behind her since she probably new the way better than them.
A few minutes later an alarm was heard and they entered into NERV headquarters.
"An unidentified object approaching from Tokyo-bay." Said Maya.
"Have the Magi see if there is a blue pattern." Said Ritsuko.
"It's an Angel" Said Misato flatly.
"Last time they gave 15 years now it's only have been 3 weeks."
"Yeah they're the kind we women hate the most!" Said Misato a bit less flatly.
The alarm was ringing through the HQ and the four teens were running down towards there to see what was happening. Once they arrived the alarm stopped because everybody now knew that there was an Angel approaching and getting really pissed off by the annoying sound of it.
"You're here already! Good it is now near Tokyo-3. Crono you go out in Unit-01 and Rei stay here in back up." Ordered Misato to the two kids.
"What do we do then?" Asked Marle and Lucca.
"You'll be staying here for now. We're supposed to have Unit-02 and Unit-03 imported from Germany but they are having some problems so they should arrive in a couple of weeks."
"In other words we sit and wait!"
"Yeah that sucks! Hun?"
"Unit-01 is ready." Said Maya bringing Misato out of her conversation with the two girls.
"Launch!" Screamed Misato.
And the EVA Unit-01 was shot to the surface.
"Alright Crono you haven't been trained to fight with guns but will just hope for another miracle. Theirs a guns on your left grab it! Aim and pull the trigger." Crono did as told and fired right next to the Angel, an explosion erupted from the building and covered the Angel with smoke. It lashed out with two whips towards the EVA but it quickly dodged and the building behind it was not as lucky and it crumbled unto Unit-01. The Angel continued with its attack and Crono continued to dodge, until he crashed into a building. The Angel took that to its advantage and picked him up by the foot, swung him few times through some buildings then threw him into the air. He landed seconds later unto a nearby mountain. Crono had been shaken a lot in his entry plug even through the LCL. He thought for a second on a strategy: "Ok. relax Crono its just a basic whip attack. A strong offence but no defence at all."
"Crono get out of there we'll send an N-2 mine to slow it down and you could try later!" Screamed Misato from the intercom in the entry plug."
"We don't have time for that" Also screamed Crono. "I need a weapon!" Misato sighed "There's a knife in your shoulder! Take it!" Crono took the knife and said: "That thing is so small"
"WILL YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND KILL THE GODDAMN ANGEL OR I'M COMING OUT OF HERE TO KICK YOUR ASS SO STOP WINING AND DO SOMETHING!!!!" Yield Misato into the intercom and caused some permanent damage to Crono's left ear.
Crono decided to never anger Misato for his life's sake. At the same time he lunged forward to attack the Angel. It responded by throwing its whips and they penetrated into Unit-01's stomach. Crono scream in pain as he felt his guts being moved and sent his knife into the red core of the Angel. Then he forced it deeper and finally broke through it. The Angel fell dead on the ground. But this time, it didn't explode. Since the whips were still imbedded in Unit 1's chest, he fell to the ground with his foe.
Everybody recovered to the push of adrenaline caused by the Angel's attack and Misato ordered "Send a recovery team to get the pilot and Unit-01. See if the EVA was contaminated and have another team dispatch the Angel." She said rather calmly.

"Way to go Crono that's two you killed now!" Said Marle as usual in her cheery and happy voice that would rival to Misato's.
"Why I'm still in the hospital?"
"After the angel attach they wanted to check if you were contaminated by the angel."
"Ok.....how long have been in here?"
"Since yesterday you were sleeping and we've been here since. And by the way you know that you snore pretty loudly we had to stick a pillow in your mouth so that you wouldn't wake up the rest of the hospital's patients!"
"I can't believe that after all this time we used to camp in the forest you never noted. Maybe because YOU snore even louder than me!" Said Crono to a now sweatdropping Lucca.
"By the way Crono I think we should go back to 2300 AD." whispered Lucca.
"Why?"
"First to see if there are some changes, then to get more information from the info center on this time period. "
"Should we really go?"
"I think we should. But we'd better go now since we don't now when will be the next angel attacks."
"So we're going now!"

Cut to a office where Gendo is sitting behind his desk and Rei is standing in front of it.
"Rei what happen to your wounds? I know that you heal faster than any of us but even Ritsuko can't seem to understand after examining you!"
"it was marle who did this to me"
"What do you mean?"
"she sat next to me, she said the word 'aura' and touched my bandages and then they were healed."
"I see"
"..."
"From now on I want you to follow them every where they go. Here" He then gave Rei a cellphone. "You may use this in case of emergencies, number is on speed dial."
"..."
"Now go! They are still at the Hospital"
"yes sir"
She departed.

As they were about to go they found that Rei was just behind the door and waited for them.
"Hi Rei"
"Hello Rei"
"where are you going?"
"Hun? We're going to see Misato in the HQ!" Said Lucca, she was eager to go as fast as they could and didn't want any one to know where they were going well mostly WHEN.
"may i join you?"
"Sure!" Said Marle.
They went to HQ but when they entered they tried their best not to be noticed by the cameras and they did....somehow? They entered into the room they first arrived and found that the gate was still there. Lucca open her bag of tools and got out her Gate key and the gate open itself.
"what is that?" Said Rei still in her calm tone of voice which is the total opposite of Misato.
"Well Rei I think we can trust you, so here goes its kind of a long story. We come from the future... well actually the past but this gate will lead us to the future." Lucca said trying to be simple.
"You should be coming with us to there is some things that we don't understand about this era!" Crono said.
"So are you coming?" Marle asked.
"yes"
They all entered the time gate, hoping to end in the future. However something went wrong and their destination was changed...
