Really?  Boy, she could get a reputation that way.

Yeah, as an uncute tomboy.  Oh, wait.... Sheesh!  I was thinking of the
phrase 'beat them off with a stick'.  I honestly didn't even think of
the other meaning.  Okay; how does 'fight them off' sound?

I'm dubious about the basic premise here, that magic
reliably trumps physical violence in direct confrontation.

Well, Kuno anyway.  Ranma hasn't faced the really heavy hitters yet.
