Sorry to jump into this thread but I think you're all forgetting one thing.  
The Amazons are fro the Peoples Republic of China and as such Amazon law 
means diddly to everyone but the Amazons as I doubt the PRC publicly accepts 
Amazon self rule (probably ignore them).  Because of this any international 
incidents concerning Amazon Law would probably force the PRC to take action.
