This too is my main complaint. It's too simplistic. If nothing else, Azusa is
not going to let Tenchi give up his bloodline. He doesn't like Tenchi, and
because of that, he's not going to let him give up the main source of his
problems; his Juraian Heritage. Why do you think Yosho ran away? Azuza is not
going to let anyone evade their responsibilities to the throne.

Anyway. Sparkster has it right when he said that almost all of the characters
aren't acting like themselves. Yeah, I can see Tenchi wanting to give up his
bloodline and get the bounty off of Ryoko's head, and bring back a ship for
Sasami and Ayeka, (although there's also the Yagami, but that's just me), but
like I ranted before, Azuza might be willing to lift the bounty on Ryoko, but
he would forbid her to leave Earth or something, just because he can. But I
as I said before, Azuza is not going to let anyone evade their
responsibilities to the throne.
Hey wait a sec-if this is set in the Tenchi TV series like it sounds. .
.isn't Azuza dead in that continuity?
