Okay, Dave. Look. If you want responses, set your Reply-To to an
address that we CAN reply to, capish? Your "CANNED MEAT" crap caused my
last message (the PRIVATE ONE, which this should have been) to bounce.
Sigh.
I'm posting this to the FFML because I spent a bit of time putting it
together, and it might help others (not likely, but you never know).
FIX YOUR REPLY-TO!!!!!
-------------------------------
1. What are the names of the Shotokan Karate fighters (From Street
Fighter) moves, and how do you spell them?
Ah... you mean Ken and Ryu? Actually, this applies to all the Shotokan
fighters throughout the entire SF series, so... (Sakura, Akuma, Evil Ryu,
etc.)
Hmm... lemme see here...
Note that these are all from SF 1... most of their moves in the rest of
the SF series are variations on these three. For example, in SF Alpha,
Ken's Dragon Fist is enhanced - he does a sort of jab-jab-jab-PUNCH routine,
instead of Ryu's wimpy single punch. Same game, Ryu's fireball is juiced
up - he can call up a Vacuum Fireball (I *think* that's what it was
called...) that is, essentially, five fireballs in one giant
toast-your-tootsies blast.
Anyway. Here's the list:
Hadouken - your basic fireball. Both have it, Ryu is better.
Shoryuken - dragon punch, a NASTY rising uppercut with a flaming fist.
Both have it, Ken is better (although it's Ryu's signature move - go fig.)
Tastumaki-Sempuukyaku - hurricane or cyclone kick. Jumps up and spins
at about head height with one leg extended and one pointing straight down,
does multiple hits in a very short time. Ryu is better.
That's about it, aside from basic moves (punches, jump kicks, throws,
etc.)
2.What are the names of Mai Shiranui's (from Fatal Fury) moves, what do
they look like/do and how do you spell them?
Sorry, can't help ya there. :)
(although, if it were up to me, the breast-jiggle would be a special
move in and of itself. I just KNOW it's there to distract her opponents. :)
3. How the heck to you spell the Hakyoku Saiken(sic?) Style Moves that
the Bogard bros. use?
See above. :)
4. What are the names of E. Honda's (Street Fighter 2) moves?
Ah...
Hundred-hand Slap - basically, a Chestnut-fist-speed flurry of open-hand
punches. Very brutal if your opponent has nowhere to go.
Sumo Head-butt - he flies (?!) across the screen head-first and buries
his noggin in your gut. Ouch.
(don't know the Japanese for either, sorry.)
You also might try searching the net. I'm sure (for example) that
posting a message to USEnet would garner several responses... the SF/FF
newsgroups are as active as ever, especially with the new Marvel-vs-Capcom
Dreamcast game coming out.
