The Xenogears by it's very design cannot walk. It
floats a couple of feet off the ground in a constant
hover but is incapable of walking. Furthermore the
only time the Xenogears ever really touches the ground
is when you perform certain special moves in the game.
As for running the Xenogears will lean it's entire
body forward at a forty-five degree angle, turn on
it's thrusters, and then begin to move forward at an
accelerated rate.
Also, the Xenogears _does_ have projectile weaponry. Its weakest normal
attack is some kind of beam blast that comes from its hands.
Then, (if you take the Battle Dome fights into account) the Xenogears has
any number of laser-beam and machinegun-like beam attacks, what appear to
be Macross-style auto-targetting missiles and ether bullets.
