"Oh? 'Illegal activities?' How are they
any more illegal than yours?" She withdrew
back into her emotionless shell. She was
facing the right-hand man of the entire
Nerima district, 'The Wild Stallion,' it
soon became hard for her to remain emotion-
less, as she began to whimper. Death was
hanging over her head like the sword of
Damocles. If the Don so wished it, the
Wild Stallion would carry out his murderous
commands.

He shrugged off his jacket and lay it beside
him on the seat. The shirt underneath was
white with blue stripes, and her eye caught
on his tie, a navy blue tied in a half-
Windsor knot. His tie was held together by
a silver clip in the same art-deco design as
his business card; it twinkled softly in the
light. "Your assignment is a man named Ranma
Saotome, born of Genma and Nodoka Saotome.
All we know is that he was born in Juuban
and he is eighteen years old." He leaned over
to refill her glass. "I want to know every-
thing: likes, dislikes, feuds, physical char-
acteristics, the whole nine yards. Is that
clear?"

Well, the first thing Nabiki would do in this
instance is to rattle off a brief physical
description right away. Why? Well, he's
standing right in front of her, and she knows
it. 'Ranma' MEANS 'Wild Stallion' in Japanese,
and any person who knows Japanese will
automatically make the translation.
I guess that what I'm getting at is that to
assume that there is no connection between
the nickname 'Wild Stallion' and the name
'Ranma Saotome' is to assume incorrectly.
