That's true, but a lot of Ultra authors don't have tons of proresu background and don't always know that stuff... plus, it's not in the Official Rules(tm) at www.mtcffultra.com. Still, it makes some sense; in tag video games, the swap is almost instant and means no double-teaming.

Speaking of which, what is Nabiki's malfunction? Why didn't she slot in
something to fill the gap left by the last match?
Technically this whole episode was filler. We had some last minute author substitutions (hence the title), so a few things had to be dropped to speed up the process of getting the episode released; I'm not sure if this fight was ever planned to happen, but that could be a reason why. (It's Impro, yaknow? I only publish these, I didn't write all of them.)
UltraREBOOT will be out July 2nd. It's taking a little extra time because it's a PPV with large story happenin's.
