Hey there,
I just had a pretty good idea for a fic and wanted to post it...
Kotaro Nibunnoichi: A Ranma/Kotaro Crossover Fanfic by Mark Marquez and
Robert Cunningham.
----------------------------------------------
This fic is a crossover of Ranma Nibunnoichi and Kotaro Makaritoru. These
fine manga were made by Rumiko Takahashi and Tatsuya Hiruta, respectivly. I
have decided to honor the two manga by making a fanfic. I hope you enjoy
reading it as much as I did writing it. Send all C&C to:
kotaro326@hotmail.com and visit my page at:
http://www.kotaro.8k.com
I'm sure that most folks know about Ranma 1/2, so I'll skip the intro for
that. There are many great sites about that manga on the Anime Web Turnpike.
Kotaro, on the other hand, is not so mainstream. I'll give a bit of info on
its behalf. Kotaro Shindou is a high school aged karate expert who is also a
gigantic hentai. He's got a lot of rivals, like Ranma does. He even has a
relationship with his childhood friend, Mayumi Watase, that is frighteningly
parallel to Ranma and Akane's. If you would like more info on KM, go to my
site at:
http://www.kotaro.8k.com
With that said, I give you Kotaro Nibunnoichi!
Note our many grammar and spelling errors, as we have no spellcheck on our
ancient computer... ;-) We didn't really edit it yet either. We want to see
how this goes before we do that, so let us know what you think.

CHAPTER 01: The Half-boy and the Hentai
==============================================
In the Nermia District of Tokyo...
Ranma Saotome ran along the fence to school. He was late of course thanks to
that idiot Ryoga. As if it was his fault that the dope had chased him to
China and gotten himself cursed. The guy was so obsessive; and he always had
to place blame on others, namely him. Ranma thought back to the fight with
Ryoga with an odd feeling.
"He seemed to be better than usual. It took throwing him in the pond to get
him to stop." Ranma said to himself. Ryoga was faster too. He didn't seem to
make the same errors that he always did when he was pissed. Still, Ranma
smirked, he did beat the lost boy. Ranma ran along the fence even faster
when he realized how late he was.
"No way am I holding buckets again." he said with determination. Not even
the loud mouthed Kuno would slow him down today.
"Ranma! Prepare to die!" Ranma snapped out of his thoughts of Kuno-bashing
at the sound of the all too familiar battle cry. What surprised him most,
was the fact that Ryoga had found him after only five minutes of being lost.
That must have been a record. It must have been Ryoga's lucky day... or not,
if Ranma had any say in it.
"Ranma! You'll suffer for the hell you've put me through!" Ryoga Hibiki's
voice was full of conviction and anger. (And boy, could he bellow.) Ryoga
sprinted after his hated foe. He lept onto the fence along the waterway and
closed the gap between himself and Ranma. No way was he going to escape
divine retribution today. Ryoga grinned maliciously. His fangs glinted with
the light of promised pain.
Ryoga was shocked to see Ranma leap to the ground below and come to a full
stop. He followed in suit and cautiously approached his rival, fearing some
sort of trick. As he neared, Ranma spun around to face him.
"Listen Ryoga. I don't got time to deal with your petty problems." he said
coolly. Ryoga did not take the remark in stride.
"Petty? I've seen HELL thanks to you!" Ryoga pointed fiercly at Ranma for
emphasis. Ranma didn't flinch. "How can you call my problems petty? At least
you're still human when splashed with cold water!" Ryoga began to seethe
with rage. He steped towards Ranma, ready to implant a fist in his rival's
face. Ranma merely held out his hand. Ryoga stopped in confusion.
"How would you like to be a girl? To have your father look at you like you
have the plague everytime you get wet? To not be able to see your own mother
in fear of having to commit sepuku thanks to a dumb promise your father
made? I say turning into a pig is petty compared to that."
Ryoga stood there stunned. Ranma had never said anything like that. Ryoga
tried to stay angry, but he couldn't.
"I-I never thought of it like that." Ryoga said sadly. He bowed his head. "I
guess I'll be going now." Ryoga turned and began trudging down the street.
Ranma stepped after him.
"Ryoga. Wait a sec." Ryoga spun around, tears in his eyes. Ranma jerked to a
halt in shock. Ryoga was crying? He thought. It had to be some sort of
trick. Then again, Ryoga was always over-emotional.
"You okay man?" Ranma wasn't sarcastic at all. Ryoga wiped the tears from
his eyes.
"Sorry. I blamed you for everything that was wrong with my life; never
thinking how you may have suffered at the hands of your idiot father." Ryoga
clenched his fists. "If anyone should pay, it's him!" Ryoga turned to run
off to the Tendo Dojo to kill a certain Panda. Ranma grabbed his shoulder.
"Hold on. It's my problem. I'll deal with it my way. Besides, you'll just
get lost." Ranma held his grip on Ryoga's shoulder. Ryoga turned and smiled,
which was a very rare sight indeed.
"I understand. I won't try to kill you anymore." Ranma nodded. That was
good. One rival down. "Oh, I may not want you dead, but I still want Akane."
Ryoga continued. Ranma smirked.
"Who wants that kawaikune tomboy anyways? You can have her." Ryoga's eyes
widened in anger.
"How dare you insult Akane like that? For that you will pay!" He growled,
baring his fangs in a show of malicious hatred.
"Woah! Slow down, pig-boy! I thought you weren't going to try to kill me
anymore!"
"I forgive you for the Jusenkyo incident, as well as the running away from
our duel, and all those times you tricked me, but I won't have you insulting
Akane's honor!"
Ryoga attacked Ranma with an extended finger. (He still didn't seem to get
the fact that the Bakusai Tenketsu* simply isn't effective against living
targets.) Ranma dodged easily and threw his hands up to shield his eyes as
the wall he was backed against suddenly ceased to exist.
"Hold still!"
"I don't have time for this, ya jerk! Leave... me... alone!"
Ranma threw himself at Ryoga, firing off that all-too-familiar move...
"KATCHU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN*!!!!!!!!!"
Ryoga blinked in surprise, and that was all he had time to do as 387 punches
hit him within that time frame. He fell to the ground, wondering just how
the bastard had done it again. Ranma fell over him, exausted. They looked
at each other, and began to laugh at themselves.
"Ya know, I'm gonna be late because of you." Ranma panted.
"Did you really mean what you said about Akane?"
"Of course not, you idiot! And if you get anywhere near her, I'm gonna have
myself a nice pork dinner."
"WHY YOU..."
Ranma was about to spring off when an eerie shadow passed overhead.
"Didst I hear the name of the fair Akane Tendo bespoken from the lips of one
of these commoners?"
"What ever happened to 'foul sorcerer?'" Ranma reacted quickly to the not
unexpected arrival of his shakespearian rival, Kuno.
"Ranma Saotome, wither Akane Tendo and the pig-tailed girl?"
"How am I supposed to know? I just--"
Ranma was cut off as a familiar old woman conveniently soaked him with cold
water. Ryoga managed to avoid the spray of water.
"Ahh! My beloved pig-tailed goddess! How I have longed for your beauty!
Come, let us date!"
He began to advance toward Ranma-chan.
"Thy beauty outshines the very orb of the morning itself! Come, let us
travel the sea of lo--"
(Bye bye, Kuno... Need I say more?)
"Can I please get to class now?" Ranma-chan whined with her fist still
raised.
"Nihao!"
Ranma-chan managed to dive out of the way as the oncoming bicycle crashed
down on the very spot that was just vacated.
"Ha! You finally missed! After crashing into me so many times, it's about
time you mi--"
Ranma was promptly cut off by Mousse, who conveniently landed with his
bicycle on the scarlet-haired cranium of the poor, maligned aqua-transexual.
Mousse turned and immediatly addressed Ryoga.
"Ranma! I have come to free my darling Shampoo's heart from your evil
clutches!"
"Shut your beak, duck-boy." Ryoga calmly put Mousse through a tree with a
right hook.
"Ya know Shampoo, ya really don't have ta keep dropping in on me like this."
Ranma-chan shook her head in a vein attempt to get the ringing to stop.
"Shampoo want Airen take her on date."
"Maybe when you learn to speak Japanese like a normal person."
"Okay." With that, Shampoo took her leave.
After the crazy Amazon had left, Ranma looked around. Something was
missing. She studied the area more closely. Everything seemed to be in
place. Kuno was taken care of, Mousse was still embedded in the tree, and
Ryoga--
"Hey! Where's Ryoga?"
Somewhere in the Eastern Arctic Circle..
"WHERE ON EARTH AM I NOW?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..."
----------------------------------------------
Shindou Dojo at Turugamine High School...
Kotaro Shindou walked along the length of his dojo clearing, his long hair
flowing in the gentle breeze. The damn place had been leveled again. On top
of that, he had accidentally stepped on a landmine placed outside the
women's locker room. Today was starting to suck. Kotaro wondered breifly if
he was made to suffer this because of his letcherous ways.
He dismised the thought quickly as he heard approaching footsteps. Kotaro
spun around just in time to be hammered into what was left of his dojo. He
looked up to face his attacker.
"You still fail to sense my presence Shindou."
"Shut up old man. This ain't the time." Kotaro made sure to keep his
distance from the old man. Sure, the student of 60 some odd years looked
frail, but he was probably still better than Kotaro. That and those damn
pressure points. Kotaro grimmaced at the memory he had of the "loosen up the
bowels" nerve cluster.
The stout old man made no move to attack, but Kotaro was weary just the
same. Sure he loved to fight more than anything else in the world, but today
was just a really bad day.
"Perhaps if you're not busy, I have much to discuss with you." The old man
grinned. His two front teeth stuck out in a way that could be considered
humorous.
"How about I stuff this log up your ass gezzer?" Kotaro retorted. However,
the old man wasn't done yet.
"I invited Miss Watase to come along as well." Kotaro perked up at this. He
really wanted to apologize for the whole "Party Incident" the night before.
"Why not old man. Lead the way." He said with a small smile.
Tenzen Shikato, the school's oldest student at 67 years young led the long
haired karate master from the dojo site smiling all the way. Shindou was in
for a surprise indeed.
----------------------------------------------
Ouendan Karate Dojo at Turugamine HS...
Momotaro Ushirono awaited the old man's return. Kotaro didn't have a clue as
to the tournament. He figured that everyone knew, signs were posted all over
the school. Then again, Shindou usually spent his time raiding the girls'
locker rooms and there weren't any signs there. Momo had been practicing
harder than anyone else. He'd beat Shindou and show the old man who was the
better man. As Momo plotted how Shindou would suffer, he burst into maniacal
laughter, earning stares from his teamates.
----------------------------------------------
Teruhiko Tenkoji polished his sword. Today was the Intra-school Qualifying
Tornament, and he had the wonderful job of keeping Shindou in line. He
didn't hate the boy, he just hated being called "hage*." For some reason, it
upset him. He wasn't bald. He shaved his head every day because he was a
priest. It wasn't his fault that Shindou had a fascination with repeating
the word.
"The moron even wrote a song about it." the priest grummbled to himself.
He knew that Shindou was going to compete when he found out; and that he
would probably win. He always won those sort of things. If there was one
thing that Kotaro Shindou could do, it was fight.
----------------------------------------------
The person in question silently followed Shikato, while idly picking his
nose. He had made a point of dropping a load along the way in case the
geezer tried anything funny. Up ahead, he could see the Ouendan Karate Dojo
complete with flag. Kotaro chuckled to himself at the memory of that flag.
He had stolen the flag and replaced it with a pair of gigantic panties with
a picture of his face on them. Momo had gone balistic then.
"What's the deal Shikato? Where's Mayumi-chan?" Kotaro was starting to get
pissed. Momo moved towards them but the old man stopped him.
"Shindou, did you know that there is a tournament today?"
"Nope, Don't care either. See ya." Kotaro turned to leave but was called
back by Shikato.
"Wait. There's going to be some good competition this time. You could use
it."
"Who? Kenji? Gon?..." Kotaro continued to rattle off the names of all he
thought might stand a chance against him. Momo fumed when he was not named.
"And what about me? Huh Shindou?" Momo advanced threateningly and Kotaro
took a stance.
"C'mom ya long haired sissy. Even Ten-hage could beat you."
(Which is odd for him to say; as Kotaro has longer hair than Momo.)
At that moment, Tenkoji appeared behind Kotaro with his sword drawn.
"Who is a Hage?" Kotaro tensed as the katana rested against his neck.
"Uh........"
"Who's weak Shindou?"
"Answer us!"
Suddenly both men turned and bounded off for the restroom. Kotaro looked at
Shikato who was trying his best to look innocent. Kotaro turned to leave but
looked back over his shoulder at the old man.
"Maybe I will enter this thing. You can bet I'll win too."
Shikato knew that he would. After all, he was his student.
(*Bakusai Tenketsu is the Breaking Point attack which shatters stone.
*Katchu Tenshin Amaguriken is a speed punching technique based on pulling
chestnuts out of a fire. Hence its name.
*Hage means baldie. It's the only thing that pisses off the priest)
