Inspired by various fanfics, including a recent

Ah. I take it you don't like that kind of fics?
Personally, I feel neutral about them, but then it's
not overdone... yet.
Actually, I've quite enjoyed several, but I had to agree with D. B.
Sommer when he pointed out that arming Akane with foreknowledge
(whatever the mechanism) just adds to her already formidable
advantage in the Ranma stakes.
So, if you don't have Akane's hairtrigger causing many of the
couple's problems, there needs to be another source of
conflict/suspense in the storyline. Besides, isn't it fair play to
give Ukyou and Shampoo a second chance too?
Now what might make a very silly story is if Kunou goes back in his
timeline to fix his mistakes....
You'd think he'd be a little more considerate,
the girl thought.
No wait, he probably thinks this is considerate.
It IS better than him actually taking her
seriously, though. One blow from him would likely land
her in hospital, and then all of Akane's attempts for
diplomacy and "better start" would be for naught.
There a difference between seriously attempting to kill your
opponent, and taking your opponent seriously. Ranma has trouble with
the latter towards Akane.
You could say that he could fight back without
risking hurting her, but Akane would have to talk him
into it.
indeed.
"Come back here so I can swat you!" she cried.
Ranma stuck out his tongue. "No way!"
Notice though, he isn't insulting her. I would
say that's a substantial improvement. Akane getting
offended by the gap in their skill levels is her
problem, not Ranma's.
She's not offended by the skill gaps, but by Ranma not taking her
efforts seriously.
Ranma fled the room anyway.
The wisest thing he did in this fic.
Nice parody, but when are you going to get
around
to your earlier fics? I'm getting tired of waiting.
We shall see.
SKJAM!
