This is my complete story arc for "The New World," formerly
"The Drowned Girl." I tried correcting some of the fighting
moves and such.
Keep in mind that the story takes place two year after the
series. I assumed he got a little better in his training.
This is my rewrite of the "Drowned Girl." I did a major
rewrite and change the plot around and took it into a new
direction. I agreed with everybody who said that it was
turning into a generic fanfiction. I hope this takes it
into a more original plot.
I do now own Ranma or any of its characters. I wish I
did so I could receive the praise and money from such a
well loved series. A talented writer and a whole bunch
of men in business suits in a far away country own Ranma .

Part III
Ranma had no real trouble finding Klun's base camp. They didn't bother
hiding
their tracks and the light of their fires could be seen from miles away.
Using his quiet
thief skills, Ranma sneaked around the camp unnoticed. He noticed a few
guards
wandering around the camp, but they mostly seemed drunk. Ranma guessed that
they
thought themselves invincible and didn't bother with security.
Ranma moved in closer to the camp. As he glided through the camp, Ranma
noticed that the middle tent had two guards at the door. These guards
seemed to be very
awake and capable of fighting. He knew he could not take them on without
alerting the
entire camp. Sudden crash of thunder came from the sky. Ranma looked up
and noticed
a storm was upon them. Ranma moved around the other tents till he
maneuvered himself
around back of the large tent.
Rain started trickling down from the sky. Out of instinct, he cringed
thinking of
his transformation. It took a moment to realize he was free of his curse.
Ranma sneaked
into the back of the tent. He pressed his ear against the tent to check for
noises. He
concentrated his chi on his finger and slowly tore the bottom of the tent.
Ranma peered
in and saw a large horde of treasure. The room was filled with gold,
jewels, and various
other valuables.
Ranma was going to sneak into the tent when he heard a cry. It was a girl
crying.
He stopped and listened. The crying was coming from the next tent. Ranma
stopped to
think a moment. He sneaked to the next tent and slipped underneath. Inside
was a large
cage. The capture Amazons were huddled together. Many of them looked
younger than
him. He could also make out a great deal of bruises and cut on them. They
were signs of
torture and other things. Ranma's anger rose.
Many of prisoners woke up and noticed him. Me motioned them to stay quiet
as
he walked out the tent doors. There were two guards. With his rapid speed,
he walked
out and punted their head together. They both quickly fell down. Ranma
dragged their
bodies inside. The Amazon prisoners were standing up now in excitement.
Ranma
searched the guards and pulled out a set of keys.
Ranma went up to the cage and started using the keys. He finally found the
right
one and opened the cage. He motioned for the Amazons to follow him. They
looked at
him with suspicion. Ranma took off his mask and motioned them to follow
him. The
Amazons nodded and started moving. A few were helping those who couldn't
walk.
Ranma looked around. He found no sign of any Huns. He hoped the pouring
rain might
have put them inside.
Ranma and the Amazons sneaked to the edge of the tents. A few guards got
in his
way, but he quickly knocked them out. He took them out of the camp and
motioned for
them to go. A few Amazons bowed to him and started running into the woods.
Ranma was tempted to make sure they made it all the way back to the
village, but
he had to go back and find the jewel. The Amazons were experienced warriors
and could
make it back. The Amazons were a strong people. Ranma was now beginning to
have
some understanding of them. He now knew why they were a proud people. They
survived and overcame many dangers. He promised himself to be more
appreciative of
them when he got back. He was actually looking forward to seeing Shampoo
and
Cologne and talking to them about this.
Ranma sneaked back into the Hun's camp. He retraced his steps and
noticed the guards still unconscious and right where he left them. Ranma
found himself
back in back of the main tent. He was going to sneak in when his danger
instincts kicked
in. He back flipped just as soon as a giant blade swung by his head.
Ranma thought he escaped, but a feeling in the back of his head showed that
he
lost his hair band. He looked at his attacker; he was a massive seven foot
tall Mongolian
with a sword as big as Ranma himself.
The blade came down again and Ranma dodged the blow. Ranma thought he
evaded
the blow, but his a sudden pain struck his chest. He put his hand on his
chest
and felt the warmth of his blood. Ranma decided to go on the offensive and
struck the Hun. He focused his energy and hit the Mongolian in the chest.
Ranma backed off and grabbed his hand. "That hurt!" yelled Ranma. The
alert
rang off and soon Ranma was squaring off against the entire camp. Ranma
jumped on
top of the roof and started to jump across. As he landed, more Huns came
running
toward him. Ranma charged his battle aura and charged at the savages.
Arrows and
spears charged at him. With his superior agility, Ranma jumped high into
the air. He
focused his energy and charged into the massive group. Using his lightning
speed,
Ranma delivered rapid punches and kicks against the attackers. Even though
they were
experienced soldiers, Ranma felt like he was fighting the entire Furikan
High male
population again. The Huns relied too much on their weapons. Ranma
shattered any
weapon with a kick or a punch.
He was feeling the rush of battle. Ranma always had to hold back against
Ryoga,
Mousse, and even Taro to an extent. This time, he had to go all out.
Suddenly, a loud
horn blew out in the distance. The Huns all ran into separate directions.
Ranma looked
up and saw thousands of burning arrows landing around him. The Amazons were
attacking. Ranma's danger sense increased as he turned around.
Klun stood before Ranma. The giant Hun screamed some words Ranma couldn't
understand. Ranma tore off his mask and pulled the remaining shreds of his
shirt. The
noise of battle was filling the night sky. The tents were burning all
around him and giant
Hun.
Ranma stood in a battle stance. Klun threw down his saber on the ground
and
also took battle stance. The Hun flexed his muscles. "He's rage with no
brains," thought
Ranma. Suddenly, the flashing of the Hun's battle aura blinded Ranma's
eyes. The Hun
knew how to harness his battle aura. Ranma looked at the Hun with more
determination.
"I'm the best," Ranma said to himself. He raised his own battle aura and
charged into
battle.
Klun threw a kick. Ranma barely managed to avoid the blow. A second blow
struck Ranma in the side. The young warrior did not see the second blow
coming.
Ranma jumped on the offensive and struck the Hun in the chest. Klun stopped
and
started laughing. Ranma was caught off guard. The Hun grabbed Ranma by the
neck
and picked him up.
Ranma's breath was seeping from his body. He looked up and saw a fist
striking
his face repeatedly. He could feel blood flowing from his mouth. He was on
the verge of
losing consciousness as he was thrown down on the floor.
"Ranma, get up!" screamed a voice. Ranma instinctively rolled out as the
Huns
fist was crashing down. Ranma looked up and saw the Amazons surrounding
them.
They raised their spears and swords and were about to charge the Hun. Miyun
came
running at Ranma.
"Stop!" screamed the martial artist. Ranma put his hand up. Soap jumped
in
front of the Amazons. Ranma looked at her with pleading eyes. The elder
nodded and
ordered the Amazons and Miyun back.
"Ranma, let go of everything, let the cat turn into the tiger!" screamed
Soap.
Ranma stood up and took a battle stance. His face was burning and blood was
trickling down from his mouth. He was finding it difficult to breathe. He
knew he had a
broken rib or two. Soap's words barely echoed in his head.
"I am ready to die here and now!" said Ranma, "You hear me Klun! I am the
best!" Something clicked inside Ranma's head. He thought of his friends,
enemies, and
family. He lost them all and now he was going to lose his life. Ranma
wanted to laugh;
he was always of afraid of not losing his battles but everything. He
realized why he
never chose a fiance. He needed them. Ranma spent his whole life alone
and now he
had people around them.
Ranma's vision began to blur. He found himself in a jungle. He could see
a
small cat running through the trees and grass. It was running in fear. It
had so many
things hunting it down. Ranma could not see what the cat was running from.
It sensed
creatures of dread and invincible enemies.
Ranma blinked.
It was he who was running through the jungle. The jungle
turned into Nemeria. Ranma was now jumping over rooftops. He was consumed
with
fear. He ran and ran. Behind him, there was Cologne and Shampoo, Akane,
Genma,
Nodoka, Soun, Nabiki, Akane, Kasumi, Ryoga, Happosai, Kodachi, Kuno, Ukyo,
Pantyhose Taro. They were all hunting Ranma. They wanted to carve him up
and
consume them.
His memories hunted him down too. His regrets and angers were attacking
him
with razor sharp claws. Every time he said something or did something he
regretted, it
took a swipe at him. Every time Akane swung her mallet, he could feel the
hurt again.
Suddenly, his memories of the cat fist training sprung into his mind. The
pain was
moving closer to him again. The shock and fear was about to consume him.
The great
beast was going to consume him. Suddenly, he felt another presence at his
side. A white
tiger was not running along side with Ranma. He looked at the tiger with
awe. It was
strength and grace combined. The tiger moved with a steady movement. He
felt the
presence become stronger. Ranma and the tiger stopped and faced each other.
Ranma
looked around. The predators were there. Waiting to strike. Ranma took a
battle stance
at the unknown. The tiger stood like a human and combined with him. He
could feel
energy being released. Ranma was now the tiger and he was the hunter. He
raised his
claws and in one strike, wiped out all his enemies.
Ranma's battle aura now blinded everybody, including Klun. Ranma found
himself back in front of Klun. His aura formed the image of a white tiger
around his
body.
"The cat fist," whispered Miyun.
"No child, the tiger claw," said Soap.
Klun took the initiative and charged at Ranma with rapid punches and kicks.
The
Hun could not lay a hand on him. He drew back in a ready stance. The Hun
looked
down and saw blood dripping down on his chest. Three clean slices streaked
across his
chest and similar strikes were all over his body.
The Klun looked surprised. Ranma jumped at the Hun and threw blazing kicks
and punches. Each blow struck Klun's body. Ranma jumped in mid-air. Time
froze and
he stayed in the air for two seconds. His leg was glowing a bright red.
With a giant roar,
Ranma launched his kick and back flipped a distanced away. Klun still stood
his ground.
There was a long pause. Even the Amazons held their breaths as everybody
waited to see
what would happen.
Ranma turned around and started walking away. More blood poured out Klun's
mouth. The Hun fell onto his knees and collapsed. The Amazons quickly
moved in on
him. A part of Ranma wanted to stop them. He knew what they were going to
do to him.
Soap was suddenly next to him. "He raped and mutilated many of our
sisters,"
said Soap. Ranma nodded. Miyun put her arms around Ranma.
"Ranma injured?" asked Miyun.
"I'll be fine," said Ranma, "lets get that jewel and send me back."
Ranma's battle
aura died out. Ranma looked around and collapsed on the ground. His world
became
black and very painful.
