Her and her sisters Nabiki and Kasumi. In fanfiction always assume
your
readers know next to nothing about the series. If you talk about everyone
in
reference to your main character (Akane) then it takes them out of the
story.
I wouldn't exactly say this. Especially given that this is an altfic, and
apparently intended to be a short piece. With a piece of this length, and
given that it *is* an altfic, I believe it's safe to assume that the readers
has, going into this, a working knowledge of the Ranma universe.
Akane was staring at the transformation after the tale of
Jyusenkyo. And at the boy. Even the terrible curse part seemed
true.
Not to mention that whole section apart the way her cloths would fit
him!

Actually, that's NOT a typo. That's the *proper* way to spell
Jyusenkyou--aside from leaving off the "-u" at the end, but we won't get
into that tired old argument here.
