I liked your story, one minor nitpick: Kansai is a region of Japan consisting 
of many cities. "A house near the old shrine on the hill" is not nearly 
specific enough. I'm sure Oosaka is in Kansai, I'm not sure what other 
cities, though. Other than that, it was funny, I enjoyed Ukyou's 'creative 
process'. Ja, ne.
